Fallout New Vegas

About this mod

A new Custom Interior Patch for Hopper31's Vertibird Player Home Mod, as the other available custom interior patches are based on outdated versions of the mod and thus no longer work correctly, for people who want a little more luxury than the base interior but not too much (though that'll be left up to the individual to judge I suppose).

_/‾‾‾|_/ Preface \_|‾‾‾\_
This Is A Mod Patch, Custom Interior, For Hopper31's Vertibird Player Home Mod Meaning That Mod Is REQUIRED For This Patch To Do Anything In-Game!
‾\___|‾\ Preface /‾|___/‾
Story-Time: Formalities aside the only reason I downloaded the GECK is because I saw a mod that placed the OWB Sink Personalities in the Lucky 38 after which I wanted to put my favorite of the Personalities in this awesome player home I'd be using for the next few playthroughs, I thought "How difficult could that be?" from there it kept expanding into the full custom interior I felt confident enough to post here as my first mod/patch.

Features:

-A more customized living quarters for the interior of the vertibird, with existing furniture reorganized a bit and personalization added, details of which will be listed below for anyone who likes reading (Really likes reading as I went a tad overboard on the details, more condensed version in the README).
-Nuka Cola Fridge, akin to the one seen in Fo3, it can be used as food storage or whatever you desire as well at the push of a button it can turn Nuka Cola in your inventory into refreshing Ice Cold Nuka Cola. (In case you wanted to keep some non-ice cold, regular Nuka Cola stored inside the fridge through the inventory will not be made ice cold.)
-Miniature Snow Globe Display Stand, including space for all 12 snow globes, now your collection can go with you anywhere and in a more compact form. Once you collect a new snow globe (or in the case of the dlc snow globes complete the dlc's final main quest) simply activate the display and an adorable miniature version of Mr. House's favorite old world collectable will appear on said display. (This will not affect the snow globe items themselves and each can still be turned in to Jane for the caps and displayed inside the Lucky 38 without affecting the miniature display inside your vertibird.)
-Small Cooking Stove, the cooking hot pot in the original interior has been upgraded to a 2 burner stove and oven for all your cooking/crafting needs. (Works the same as a campfire and the previously mentioned cooking hot pot.)
-A Totally Inconspicuous Toaster, everyone needs the convenience of a toaster in their flying kitchen. Wonder what would happen if I placed this nearby holotape in one of it's slots... (Kids do not try this at home, only in your player home under courier supervision!)
-Working Radiation-Free Sink, including a little water tank since how else would there be a working rads free water source on a vertibird. (Maybe Jenkins or The Courier got their hands on a miniaturized project purity filter, sure let's go with that for the people who prefer lore-friendly content...)
-Fully Functional Coffee Maker, activate it to take a nice slip of coffee for a little boost** before those rough days in the wasteland. Be warned though The Courier can develop a dependency on the caffeinated bean water much like the people of the pre-war era, in the form of an addiction***, though said addiction isn't super common unless using it regularly. (For people who're familiar with the game's mechanics it has the alcohol's umon system so the addiction chance starts low and builds slowly over time if used constantly.)
-Flat Chains On The Folding Bed, the script for the bed folding is in the original mod and I take Absolutely No credit for that, but the open bed model with the chains connecting to the wall flat was my first dive into Blender and I spent way too damn long (learning the process for such a minor detail) to not mention it.
-Miniaturized Sierra Madre Vending Machine, this one's just not really lore-friendly unless you wanna say Jenkins found a prototype on his many travels and fixed it up, use it to trade in junk and such for sierra madre chips then trade those in for other items.
-Various Minor Decorations, to give it a bit more of a lived in and personalized feel. Metal countertops, nuka cola clock in the kitchen, "mirror" over the sink, the previously mentioned water tank with accompanying wasteland marks on it for anyone who knows what they mean, tv for viewing pleasure, OWB safe as I just like the model and needed something to fill the space, pristine sunset sarsaparilla posters, model train**** on tiny tracks, tiny enclave terminal cause again I like the model and again that wall looked too empty, nuka cola victory (static object) in case the driver gets thirsty.
-Small Wild Wasteland Interaction, an easy to find one time trigger that will not repeat, text is displayed for a few seconds and that is it. (It's just a video game reference and a vague one at that in the form of pop-up text, I'd honestly be surprised if anyone immediately got said reference... Feel free to comment if you actually get it!)
-Thank You And Credits Note, pretty self explanatory.

** [Coffee Effects: Damage Dehydration by 5 Points (Hardcore Mode); Increase Max Action Points by 20 (this increase is affected by the Survival Skill) for 8 Hours; Increase Intelligence and Perception by +1 for 9 Hours; Restore Health by 10 Points; Restore Sleep Deprivation by 20 Points (Hardcore Mode); Restore Starvation by 2 Points (Hardcore Mode).]
*** [Coffee Addiction Effects: Reduce Speech by 10 Points, Decrease Strength by -1, Damage Sleep Deprivation by 10 Points (Hardcore Mode).]
**** (Closer inspection of the train will reveal a bit of graffiti on it, for anyone wondering the two courier marks and heart are a tiny homage to my grandparents who coincidentally were both couriers irl. Minus the bullet to the head...)

Conflicts/Issues:
- Any of the other uploaded custom interior patches made for Vertibird Player Home will obviously conflict with this one, however at the time of mine being published all of those are outdated and have issues with the current version of Vertibird Player Home (V3.16) anyways.
- The "Player Vertibird Home - Sortomatic Patch" uploaded by TheIronMiner789 for the containers should NOT be compatible with this Mod Patch as it's description says it removes and replaces the original containers which would cause numerous misplacement and clipping issues.
[Non-Conflicts]
- No conflicts have currently been found within the Mod itself (Please comment in the "Posts" or make a report in the "Bugs" sections if you believe you've found an issue).
- No conflicts have currently been found between other Mods and this one (Please comment in the "Posts" section if you believe you've found an issue).
- Any of the reskin mods for the outside of the Vertibird Player Home are completely safe to use as this mod patch only affects the inside (Same goes for the Blue Thunder Reskin which also adds a helmet into one of the containers but said container is simply moved and won't cause any conflicts).

Updates:
5/15/2023 - Version 1.2
- Totally Inconspicuous Toaster now working as intended... I mean if it were anymore than just a Regular Toaster it would now be able to destroy Appliances and make occasional Overworld Conversation.
- Mini Snow Globe Placement Script now working as it's meant to, corrected a bit of a novice error so finally any obtained Snow Globes can be placed on the Mini Display without being dependent on Jane in the Lucky 38 (or in the case of the DLC Snow Globes completing the Final Quest) or being missable if turned into Jane before activating the Display/before downloading this Mod Patch.
- The Scotch, Vodka, and Wine Vending Codes found in the Sierra Madre Casino will now appear on the Mini Vending Machine in the Vertibird. To be clear the codes must still be obtained in the DLC first just like the other Codes for them to become active, normally these three are exclusive to the Vending Machines inside the Casino itself and no others.
4/4/2023 - Version 1.1
- Discovered an oversight in the Snow Globe Placement Script, now works as description described, Snow Globes can be placed on the Miniature Snow Globe Display without needing to turn the originals in to Jane in the Lucky 38.
- DLC Snow Globes can now be displayed when obtained instead of requiring completion of the respective DLC's final quest, this only really applies to Lonesome Road (as that is the only DLC you can leave before completion in the original game) but I decided to make the change to all 4 anyways.
- Added a Pip-Boy Icon (provided by cbgreely) for the Honest Hearts Zion Snow Globe, for consistency sake, as it is the only one missing an icon and the DLC Snow Globes can now be seen in your inventory until turned in to the Miniature Snow Globe Display (Caps/Chips are still obtained upon finding the originals).
