Description
This simple music mod replaces the New Vegas menu music with "American Venom" From Red Dead Redemption 2, more specifically the Ultimate John Marston Theme by Radioactive Rubber Pants. I kinda lied so what? What are you gonna do, throw hands? Half of you guys couldn't even throw a softball xD! Seriously though, this is perfect for a playthrough for gunslingers/outlaws, like the one I'm doing now. Honestly, I'm pretty surprised that there isn't more Red Dead-related stuff in this game, it honestly kind of works! Might do more later down the line, like changing vats with dead eye or something, but I'm not too sure just yet.
Installation
Ok, so what you need to do is sell the soul of your unborn child to a cultist of Zolag the Merciless, there is usually one at every other 7/11.
Seriously though, it's easy enough, either run it through a mod manager or drop it into the data folder.
Recommended Mods
Honestly, I recommend two mods that will make your experience with the mod much better.
Even Better Loading Screen and Main Menu Replacer, providing new and lore-friendly menu art/loading screens, showing only concept and fan art.
New Vegas Main Menu Background. I like this one since I never really liked the original menu picture, and this one matches much better with the theme we're going for.
