Please follow the instructions for installing this: (TL;DR)

-Merge this mod's files with Blues Radio New Vegas (Mod Organizer 2 or manually - MO2 will prompt a Merge option if you install it using the same name as Blues Radio New Vegas).

-Go into the merged folder and run the "WAV to OGG radio converter.bat" (might have to right-click -> run as administrator).

-Make sure the BluesRadioAroundMojave.esp is loaded after BluesRadioNV.esp.

-Done.

Long story - how, and why?

The original mod lacks the right format files for the radio to be playable in-game (pip-boy can play .mp3 and .wav, the in-game objects can only play .ogg with an added "_mono" suffix). Otherwise making this mod would be a 5 minute job.

Now luckily for you, I've made installing this a one minute job. Whether you install this manually or using Mod Organizer 2 (preferred) - there's an extra step. This mod contains files that will automatically convert the music into the right format and add the '_mono' to the name.

Please download the Radio Blues New Vegas and install it first.

Then, if using Mod Organizer 2 - when you install this mod - change the name of the mod to "Radio Blues New Vegas" (or whatever the other name you might have changed the original you've just installed to) - this will prompt the Mod Organizer to say the mod is already installed - click "Merge".

Right-click on Blues Radio New Vegas on the left half of the Mod Organizer and click "open in explorer" - this will lead you to the directory of the installed files. Or get there another way (if you are installing this manually).

The folder will now contain BluesRadioNV.esp (original) and BluesRadioAroundMojave.esp (this mod) as well as a .bat file called "WAV to OGG radio converter" - double click this file. It will automatically hunt down the \sound\fx\radioblue subdirectory and convert .wav files to .ogg files that the game can play from objects. Otherwise the affected radios will output nothing. Your computer may not let you run a .bat file, but right-click and run it as administrator if that is the case.

You're done! Make sure that the BluesRadioNV.esp is loaded and BluesRadioAroundMojave.esp is loaded after it.

All credit goes to lugaruclone for creating the original mod, to the artists from the bygone era who have created these songs, and to the team of the open-source SOX sound eXchange (https://sox.sourceforge.net/) software which is nested in this mod's files (distributed according to its license) - allowing this mod to exist in this way, without copying the original mod.

Enjoy.

Note: Unlikely but if the batch file has failed to convert, I recommend downloading Audacity and converting the files manually - you can load all of them at once and click "file - export - export multiple" and choose .ogg - keep the quality at 5. Then you will have to manually rename them to add "_mono" at the end of the file names (for .ogg only), keeping them in the same folder as the .wav ones - which are required to keep as well.
