Looked a lot, never found a mod of any sort that fixed it. Charge's and NMC have upscales, but they are no better, since the base image is so bad. All the various tent mods had nothing I could snatch that was any better either.
So I took Charge's 4K upscale of the wastelandmarquee images that form the base for the tents, and inset a canvas texture I stitched together to get a decent look. This is my first mod, so took some time as I had no idea what I was doing. Found out the inset had to be just right, or it would bleed into the tents with open doors. Then I found that NMC and Charge's have normal maps that made a bump look where the wood knots were, plus created some weird reflection, so I made a blank normal using the free online Normalmap generator. It will not hurt anything if you don't need it, and if you have NMC or Charge's, just be sure you overwrite with this file. Nothing here but a couple simple texture overwrites, add and delete as you please, no worries.
I went with 4K due to the tent size and it gets a nice canvas texture. But I did a simple resize to 2K for those wanting that. I think that might be optimized for a better look, but it does not look bad, just a little blurrier, and still way better than the original.
Credit to Charge's great upscale for use of the 4K image. He does not get enough credit for his work from people posting with various issues with the upscale, but his 2K setup with maybe a little work is the best base texture upgrade going in my opinion, then lay other stuff over as desired.
Please feel free to use or improve any way you want. The edges are a bit harder than I'd like, too square on upper corners. Really, the whole tent needs a makeover, so maybe my next project, but for a first mod effort I'm happy enough with this. It's not like FNV is bloody perfect anyway! :)
