Mod review: Stabby slice/10 Love all of the melee weapons in this pack. They're all very cool and beautiful to look at, and I love the satisfying swinging sounds I hear when I take them out for a spin.
hey, having trouble finding certain items like the russian hammer, hatchetman, and sawtooth. ive checked a bunch of shops and killed plenty of legion to wastelanders but still have not had any luck finding them. any place that more specific i could find these weapons at?
There's already a script injecting them into various enemies and the Gun Runners. Do you have NVSE or anything like that? I have no idea if the script needs anything extra like that to work properly. Beyond that there isn't any other specific location besides loot and the Gunrunners.
I don't really mod FNV anymore so I don't think I'll be of much further help, apologies!
it okay man you have given us a lot of good mods and I feel at some point you should make a megapack to have all of yours mods installed in a bundle to save on the load order just if you ever have time :D
they already are. Gun runners is supposed to sell them while various enemies (description has a small list of who spawns with what) have the possibility to spawn with them. I'm not a scripter or a dedicated leveled list integrator so what's in the mod is basically as good as it's gonna get on my end
Thank you Since I play on TTW idk if they would show up in the DC area So I was going to make it so we can craft some of them to make it so you can at lease find some of them in the DC area.
Would you ever be cool with making update to make some of them craftable?? Chinpo I hope im not imposing by asking?? with my Games I make sure a lot of the weapon mods i have are somewhat craft able to make the game feel a bit more balance
I'm hearing a lot of the sounds as if they were being used in First Person, since they don't have a 3D/3Ddist sound associated with them (don't think melee weapons do), which results in me hearing them pretty randomly whenever an NPC uses one of them.
Love the mod! But could you make the shovel allow for digging like the vanilla one? I'll do it myself even, just tell me how. Too good a shovel to be left as "just" a melee weapon. Great work on this though! Thanks!
Thank you! Thing is I have no idea lol The weapon entry itself is a clone of the vanilla shovel just turned into one handed melee so I'm gonna assume the whole digging aspect is probably script related. I'll have to take a look around the FalloutNV.esm and see what makes the vanilla shovel tick.
So... I drop the shovel and it floats in place. The Ice Pick drops like normal. I think something is borked in my game. That or I never tried to drop the shovel before? Not sure what's going on. I also seem to remember being able to dig with it before. But I put my original shovel in a companions inventory. No idea if that affected anything. Anyhow, I'll keep playing around with it. I have so many mods it may be an issue on my end. If so, sorry for wasting your time!
Sounds like the mesh doesn't have collision then. Which is odd considering I used a vanilla weapon for the basis of the weapon nif, Wasn't the vanilla shovel's nif though, it was one of the one handed weapons I believe. I only used the shovel's weapon entry for the esp part.
Vanilla meshes have their fair share of problems though so I should have double checked the nif. I'll fix it as soon as I'm able thanks for letting me know!
Not a problem! And thanks! As for my own end here's what I have: 1. Floating shovel that can't be picked up. 2. Can't dig with it. 3. Tested vanilla shovel, everthing "just works" with it. 4. Still lovin' this mod despite my issue. 5. Shovel still *slaps!!!* Meaning it works perfect as a melee weapon.
You do good work and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

Any way around that?
