One-Handed Minigun

What's more badass than man in power armor wielding a minigun? That's easy, man in power armor wielding a minigun in one hand. One year ago today, I released a supermutant overhaul mod called Menace of The New West. One of the main features of the mod was one-handed miniguns for supermutants. Now a year later, it is no longer just for supermutants. Now it is possible for the wanderers of the wasteland as well.
With update 2.0.70, this new unique power armor animation set modifies the shoulder-fired system of the SMMG into an one-handed system, in true classic Fallout style, the same way special agent Frank Horrigan held it. It contains standing, sneaking, and iron sight animations that bring a fresh visual feel to New Vegas, transforming the weapon from a dull lump on the shoulder, into a dynamic, mobile killing machine. It is a minigun. It is one-handed. It is the ultimate weapon, for badasses only.
This animation set is a proof of concept. It also establishes the necessary framework for modifying more weapons in a similar way in the future. It currently only works for the SMMG out of the box, but will work for any custom launcher type weapons as long as it uses the SMMG animations and an one-handed variant of the model exists in the mesh file.
Like most of the other ideas, this was already penciled in during the days of Titans 1.0. At the time however, it was just not possible to implement this kind of thing without breaking too much in the process, so it was shelved for the longest time. Props to the folks managing all the different script extenders for expanding the toolset available and making this a possibility.
*Weapon and armor stat changes shown in the video are not included. They are for demonstration purposes only. The mod is purely cosmetic.
