Changelogs
Version 2.1
FULL and PLUGIN versions only: by default weather's fog colour and fog power will be edited only if the fog distance has been edited. Options added to the ini files to force those changes on unedited weather, like it was on the 2.0 version (not recommended).
Version 2
improves scripts
redo the Lite version to allow random fog distance, making it compatible with the TTW patch
the Lite version is the recommended one
the Lite version does not require Johnny Guitar while the Full does.
remove the 'exclude weathers' option from the Lite version
no INI preset required (will then used 59k daytime and 49k nighttime values by default)
add option to allow the mod to increase fog distance instead of only reducing it
add option to chioose a fog colour for nighttime different from daytime (only for FULL versions)
some options can be disabled by simply setting them to 0 instead of a number below zero
Version 1.5
avoiding fog at night can simply be done by setting night value to 0 in INI
fog coloring won't occur on nights if the night fog distance value is 0 (disabled) but still occurs if fog distance is set on very hight values
Version 1.4
remove not enough consistent "try to avoid interiors" setting
the horizon setting is now a boolean (ON/OFF) instead of (ON/OFF/ON only on day time)
some minor optimizations, ini file rewritten
removed documentation part in optional files' ini, use the one in main file for informations
update and re-upload optional files to include new tweaks and settings in them
Version 1.3
adds horizon colour setting to helps transition between fog colour and sky with some weather mods (like DN weathers) when using custom fog colour
note : I won't reupload all optional configurations. If you want this setting enabled, just add "iTweaksHorizon = 1" into your ini file
Version 1.2.1
script optimization i forgot in 1.2
Version 1.2
adds fog color settings (look at screenshots for an example)
adds fog 'power' settings (look at screenshots for an example)
change a 'set' for a 'let' command in the script, seems a bit faster in that case
Version 1.1
use faster functions in script to make it... faster
add a 39k no night config
Version 1.0.2
change script from a 'ForEach' to a 'While' loop, wich seems to be a bit faster
DESCRIPTION Dusty distance is one of my all time favorite mod but it's not working with other weather mods. Then Dusty Distance xEdit Scripts came to add effect to a lot of others mods, but you have to patch yourself all the weathers into xEdit program. Now, with Dusty Distance Redone you have an esp-free mod that simply apply the same effect, with some customization thanks to an awesome .ini file. Some weathers can be excluded, and fog distance can be random... You can also edit fog colour and its 'power'. Compatible with all mods that don't change fog distance by script. Feel free to edit fog distance values as your convenience.
COMPATIBILITY Any weather mod should be compatible excepted Nevada Skies - Weather Effects (the version with scripted fog distance) Could improve performances when used wisely with Fog-based Object Culling (needs very close fog). Outside that, shouldn't impact the game performances at all. When using the FULL version, you can use the ini file to prevent defined weathers to be edited by the mod.
Screenshots made on vanilla weather. Effect could be different depending wich weather mods you're using.
