"This is a fine weapon."
- John Marston, after receiving a Spencer Carbine from Bonnie during Red Dead Redemption.

Wikipedia description:
The Spencer repeating rifles and carbines were early American lever-action firearms invented by Christopher Spencer. The Spencer was the world's first military metallic-cartridge repeating rifle, and over 200,000 examples were manufactured in the United States by the Spencer Repeating Rifle Co. and Burnside Rifle Co. between 1860 and 1869. The Spencer repeating rifle was adopted by the Union Army, especially by the cavalry, during the American Civil War but did not replace the standard issue muzzle-loading rifled muskets in use at the time. Among the early users was George Armstrong Custer. The Spencer carbine was a shorter and lighter version designed for the cavalry.

Another model from butchcassidy1118, another gun I made playable. This classic weapon is designed as a sort of upgrade to the Varmint Rifle: both will use 5.56 (for game balance, since I didn't want to turn the Carbine into a shorter Cowboy Repeater), with the Carbine doing higher damage on top of being more reliable, but lacking the capacity upgrades of both the Varmint Rifle and the Cowboy Repeater. Should be integrated into the early-game through JIP LN integration (thanks, Sweet6Shooter!). Oh, and the gun can be upgraded with a Varmint Rifle Scope and a Cowboy Repeater Maple Stock.

One can be found for free inside Jean Sky Diving. Gun uses the Lever Action Shotgun animations.
