=============================================
Description:
A Daring collection of Catsuits and Rompers, inspired by daredevils and stunt drivers such as Evel Knievel.

I had initially made these for my personal play through of Fallout: New California, (wanted a replacer for the vaultsuit) and I had put originally intended to release these in a bundle with Pitstop Girls Collection, but then later settled upon a different body type for these, and decided to release it all separately. Which is why they feature the same shoes and texture pallet as Pitstop. This is the second of three GLOW installments using these themes

Variations Include:
  • Blue
  • White
  • Red
  • Black
  • Yellow
    2.0 Update 10.08.21
  • Black and Blue
  • Vault Colors

=============================================
Location:
In the Goodsprings cemetary, under the water tower, in a silver briefcase. on the left hand side of the tower, on a cement block

=============================================
Features:
  • Seamless compatibility
  • a belt accessory that can be optionally worn
  • NOW WITH MALE VARIANTS FOR VANILLA MALE BODY!
  • an optional modders resource for both the rompers textures, and the leather pants to make custom textures for these outfits if you're the enterprising sort. Probably a lot more could be done with this concept texture wise but we wanted to keep it simple as possible. files include .psd (for photoshop users) and .xcf for GIMP users.

Requirements:
Vanilla male bodies for the male variant
Type 4 by Junkacc11

Recommended, but not required:

Technical:
  • The health of this armor is set to 650, and the DT is set to 20. This is the same as Reinforced Combat Armor, Mk II in the vanilla game, so its a decently protective light armor set.
  • This outfit can be repaired using combat armor.
  • The belt accesory has a DT of 5 and a "Health" of 1000. The health effects how quickly an armor will degrade over time before it needs to be repaired. This accessory is set high so it doesnt have to be repaired. It can be repaired with combat helments. This belt comes from the vault suit belt in game. It was retooled by zzjay and I
  • There are no enchantments on this armor

Known Bugs:
  • not so much a bug, but the textures are certainly flawed. This was a very early attempt of mine, to learn how to use custom brushes in gimp, and in many ways, it definitely shows, particularly under certain lights.
  • You may see a seam on the back or at the front as a result of the UV being mirrored. I haven't found a way to fix this, and I dont want to break the seam by putting it back into blender to mess with the uv map. It is certainly more apparent with certain ENBs, then it is with others. But it appears mostly to be an interaction between light and shadow, so how much the "invisible seam" shows depends on your lighting in game. Shown in screenshot
  • in certain extreme poses, the arms and shoulder look bizarre. This isnt really the outfits fault, this is just kind of how the shoulders act in FNV and i cant do anything to change it. You wont notice it in regular play, only if you take screenshots
  • in certain poses, the rompers clip at the legs. it doesnt occur through regular play, only posing.

FAQ:

Q: Do you have any future plans to convert these outfits to any other custom body type, such as type 6, or type 3?
A:
I have no future plans to convert these outfits to any other custom body type on the nexus.

Q: Do you plan on making these outfits BNB compatible?
A: This mod does not feature left and right bones in the breast, so BNB animations are unlikely to work with these outfits, I have no current plans to put them there, as putting this back into blender would break the seamlessness and its just not worth it to me. You go right ahead though.

Q: Can I make updates, fixes, changes, conversions to this file and release them/include outfits from this file in an overhaul/quest
mod/replacer?

A: If you have permissions from both Eronel55 (for use of the shoe meshes contained in this file) and Xazomn for the textures, then you have permission from me. However, if you do -not- have their prior express permission to make further changes to either the textures or the meshes, then you do not have permission from me. my releasing this mod, and using assets from it was completely contingent on both of them giving me permission to do so, and the same
will be true for anyone wanting to use these assets. In this mod, that pertains specifically to the boots. However! if its just the leg mesh and the body mesh you intend to use, those are okay to use.

Q: I would like to see this outfit in a specific color you haven't made! / Do you have plans to add these outfits to a merchant? / Will
there be any updates?
/ Can you put the outfits somewhere more lore friendly in game?
A: Highly unlikely I'm gonna add any different colors or make any significant updates that aren't bug fixes, should the need arise. Never
say never, but consider it pretty unlikely. I do have two other retextures of this suit I left out (vault colors and blue/lighter black) because Im trying to reduce the amount of variations I put into a mod to streamline the work process and release more frequently. But, depending on how well the mod does, I'm not opposed to including those two in an update. We'll just see how it goes, and if thats even something people want.

Q: Im having a unique bug with this mod that isn't listed here, what should I do?
A:
Messages reach me faster then comments or bug reports do for the most part, but before messaging me, commenting, or submitting a bug report, please verify that the bug is in fact coming from my mod by doing all the usual checks and I'll do my best to address it, but I am frequently AFK -_-, so please try to be patient with my response times!

Q: You had mentioned this mod was planned as a bundle before it was broken up in parts, Do you have any other future plans for these same textures and shoes?
A: no one would really ask me a question this specific, but actually I did want to add that I do have one last installment with this general theme that should be coming out after this. No idea when, as they arent completed

Q: Would you consider making a plug in to put these in Fallout: New California, since you feature it so heavily in the screenshots?

A: If people express a genuine interest in that, then, sure.

Q: This mod isn’t lore friendly/wouldn’t be practical in the wasteland/I don’t like this and want to complain! :(
A:
If you don’t like it, don’t use it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Here at GLOW, we don't do tacticool.

Reporting a bug or making a suggestion
Before reporting a bug, or making a suggestion for the mod, be sure you have read the entire description for the mod page. :| Technical/known bugs section for bug reports, FAQ and future plans for suggestions. I try to be extremely thorough with my descriptions and readmes and leave nothing out, and update it for things other people notice if they do. If it is already written in the description of the mod, that's where I will point you toward. The description which answers the question or suggestion. Where suggestions are concerned, if it was left out of the mod, there was probably a reason for it. If you are having a unique bug that isn't listed, messages will reach me faster then comments do, but again, most things you might encounter and their solutions can be found in the known bugs section. Be very specific about the nature of the bug, (whats happening specifically? can you take a picture? Is it on your end, or ours? "I tried it, it doesnt work" doesn't mean anything when troubleshooting a new bug, especially if its works on our end and others. we need details so we know how to help) and follow up with the team.

Should go without saying but rude/aggressive behavior will be ignored.
Telling me your game playing experience has been just RUINED means nothing to me. "takes two seconds to change x, y or z" then probably its something you can handle without us.

~GLOW~
the mod team who collaborated on this port decided to give our team a name, or a "fashion label" if you will, to adequately distribute credit to
everyone involved and to be included within the author mention. Each of the individual mod authors contributed a fair share of work and deserves a fair shake for their efforts. Please check out their pages for great mods and screenshots and throw a few endorsements and kudos their way.
