About this mod

This mod revises New Vegas Redesigned 3 a bit, removing unnecessary / annoying elements of the mod and restores a few vanilla looks, redesigns a few others.

What I did in detail:

- Replaced the fco races that are used by named NPCs with vanilla / NVR3 looking ones. Minor characters like gamblers, residents etc. might still have fco races but there should be less
- Removed a lot  (although I hope I got all) of (unnamed and unvoiced) NPCs from casinos, Bitter springs etc. to improve performance, get rid of unvoiced lines and also be more compatible (e.g. with Casino Crowds)
- Removed Bitter Springs music, as well as some other tracks: Gomorrah and Ultra Luxe still have them but I tweaked both to be less intrusive and more of a background ambience
- Tweaked a few SFX (less intrusive, I hope)
- generated Facegen for the characters I added
- Made two very minor patch for TLD Travellers and 3DNPC
- Optional file that tries to replicate most of the characters' looks from the Collector's Edition playing cards (BNW REQUIRED! Sorry but trust me, it's worth it)

What this mod requires:

Qwinn's New Vegas Redesigned 3. Please follow the exact same instructions from that page (link in requirements tab) and please use the MERGED version.
Also, depending on what patches you need, other files.
For the concept look plugin you will need BNW (Brave New World) as well!

What I require from you:


Knowledge of conflict resolution. Trust me, it's not hard at all, especially for NPCs. I wanted to include some megapatches but that wouldn't make sense. Everyone has a different kind of modlist so I can't do every possible combination for you.
I really recommend you to use BNW. Basically, the only thing you need to do then is (simplified, I hope):
- Open xEdit, select all your plugins
- Open Brave New World, go to the Non Player Character tab
- Go through all the NPCs: Make sure to carry over the following (you can also try to conflict resolute the inventories and other stuff but not necessary):
Race, Voice type, Haircolor, Eye(color), FaceGenData
Either carry these changes from BNW over to the last loaded plugin that edits the NPC OR (maybe better and easier) to a new plugin. You can do this by doing it in this order:
1. Rightclick on the NPC entry, select Copy and override into and select new esp at the bottom
2. Do the conflict resolution, if necessary

That's it, basically. My personal take on the mod.
