I searched for a bit and couldn't find a mod that combined ED-E's upgrades in both appearance and properties, so I did it myself.
What this mod does:
I also made a version that works with NV Animated EDE Face by AmaccurzerO, giving ED-E all of the above, plus a cute face.
Install
I recommend using a mod manager like Mod Organizer 2, but nothing is stopping you from just copying the files to your Data folder and enabling the ESP.
Incompatibilities

What this mod does:
- Upgrades DT for the Followers' ED-E
- Replaces the Brotherhood's ED-E's weapon with the Followers' one
- Merges both upgrades appearance-wise so ED-E gets a squeaky clean shine and upgraded weapon
