LockedStickyIt's been two weeks since I posted my Blade of the West redesign, and once more the reactions have been extremely encouraging, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you everyone ! There have been so many amazing mods posted lately that I thought for sure that this one wouldn't hold the top spot for more than a day or so, yet it did until the end, and that kind of support is something I'm incredibly grateful for.
I do have one more mod idea I'd like to work on, one unrelated to swords this time, but it might take a while before this one materializes. Until then, I thank you all for your incredible support, and I hope you'll look forward to my future creations ! -

As with your other mods: perfection. Especially with the slim version because that looks like an actual combat effective weapon, similar to the real life zweihander or the spadone, while still maintaining the original "really big sword" idea. I know you tried to maintain the original idea of a big, wide sword, but it wasn't really usable in vanilla either (realistically), so the slimmed version is perfection. Thanks for the mod. -
why does this require an esp?

I used different file names than those of the base game while working on the mod, made the whole process much easier for me when swapping models and textures ! As such, an .esp pointing to the new asset names was required. I didn't change this when publishing the mod since the .esp limit can now be bypassed, but if it's an issue for you, you can always merge it with another .esp !

I wonder. How difficult is it to do a scripted version over a .esp? Legit question. I see more and more of them popping up.

Since I can do nothing but gawk at Lanius' new blade as a Legion character, this can at least serve as a pleasing consolation prize.
Once again, thank you for making your Legion Blade mod series. They're something all of us didn't know we wanted but NEED it now that it's on Trending.

I love this sword, but is there any chance you could make it a bit smaller? The reason I use the original BOTW is the lack of clipping due to the shorter length of the weapon.

Edit: I managed to make the blade smaller in NifSkope, I guess that's a start, I just can't shrink the pommel without it scaling down and clipping into the hand when equipped :P -
