About this mod

Provides several ini configuration options for hardcore aspects of the game.

Adds a "Hardcore Customization.ini"  file into Data/Config folder with several options to customize hardcore aspects and aspects that may have a direct impact on hardcore/realistic-ish gameplay. 

Currently available features:

  • [RATES]
    • iDehydrationRate: Sets the number of seconds it takes your dehydration meter to go up by 1. Vanilla is 10.
    • iStarvationRate: Sets the number of seconds it takes your starvation meter to go up by 1. Vanilla is 25.
    • iExhaustionRate: Sets the number of seconds it takes your sleep deprivation meter to go up by 1. Vanilla is 50.
    • iExRestorationRate: Sets the amount of sleep deprivation restored per hour of sleep. Vanilla is 60.
  • [STAGES]
    • iStageOne: Sets the value of the first penalty stage trigger. Vanilla is 200.
    • iStageTwo: Sets the value of the second penalty stage trigger. Vanilla is 400.
    • iStageThree: Sets the value of the third penalty stage trigger. Vanilla is 600.
    • iStageFour: Sets the value of the fourth penalty stage trigger. Vanilla is 800.
    • iStageFive: Sets the value of the fifth and last penalty stage trigger, death. Vanilla is 1000.
  • [SCALE]
    • fSurvivalScaling: The Survival skill scales up food item effects using this value. Vanilla is 2, at which food items effects are x3 times stronger with 100 survival skill, or x2 times stronger with 50 survival skill and so on. Setting this to 0 would effectively make food items not scale up at all.
    • fMedicineScaling: The Medicine skill scales up medicine item effects using this value. Vanilla is 2, at which med items effects are x3 times stronger with 100 medicine skill, or x2 times stronger with 50 medicine skill and so on. Setting this to 0 would effectively make med items not scale up at all.
  • [HEALING]
    • bDisableSleepHealing: Disables healing in player-owned beds. Use with Stewie Tweaks' "bSleepingHeals" being set to 0, which disables healing by sleeping in non-player-owned beds to completely disable healing by sleeping.
    • bDisableFoodHealing: Removes healing effects from all food items. Supports mod-added ingestibles flagged as food items as well.
    • bDisableWaterSourceHealing: Removes healing effects from water sources such as sinks, ponds, lakes, etc.
    • bDisableNukaColaHealing: Removes healing effects from Nuka-Colas. Does not support mod-added variants.
    • bDisableSunsetSSHealing: Removes healing effects from Sunset Sarsaparillas. Supports JSUE's Ice-Cold variant, no other mod-added variants are supported.
  • [WATER]
    • iPurified: Base value of purified water's "Restore Dehydration" effect. Vanilla is 50.
    • iUnpurified: Base value of dirty water's "Restore Dehydration" effect. Vanilla is 50.
    • iIrradiated: Base value of irradiated water's "Restore Dehydration" effect. Vanilla is 50.
  • [COFFEE]

      Requires Honest Hearts. If it's not installed, these will do nothing.
    • iRestoreDehydration: Base value of black coffee's "Restore Dehydration" effect. Vanilla is 5.
    • iRestoreStarvation: Base value of black coffee's "Restore Starvation" effect. Vanilla is 2.
    • iRestoreSleep: Base value of black coffee's "Restore Sleep Deprivation" effect. Vanilla is 20.
  • [WATEROVERHAUL]

      Requires PushTheWinButton's Water Overhaul. If it's not installed, these will do nothing.
    • iClear: Base value of clear water's "Restore Dehydration" effect. Vanilla is 50.
    • iBad: Base value of bad water's "Restore Dehydration" effect. Vanilla is 50.
    • iTerrible: Base value of terrible water's "Restore Dehydration" effect. Vanilla is 50.
