1. Overview

When I first played NV, I found it so interesting how the game handled sexuality. Instead of the Courier defaulting to heterosexual, or having the NPCs be playersexual, they implemented a system of perks that allowed the player to essentially choose from several different sexualities. However, while I appreciate the sentiment, this left something to be desired in the gameplay aspect: In order to play through as one, it could take up two very important early game perk slots; Players could simply choose to take the perks for a free 10% bonus damage while completely ignoring the dialog options; Most importantly, this locks various gameplay elements behind exclusive topics not present for all players. This mod aims to fix these problems.
The first thing this mod does is add 3 perks for bisexuality and asexuality. The next thing this month does is change all of the perks into pseudo-traits, so that they do not take up a perk slot. The bonus damage that each perk has is related to the amount of dialogue topics that they have available. Lastly, this mod also increases the amount of topics for each of the sexualities, usually by simply copying the topic but changing the required perk. However, some encounters have the text changed so that they are unique depending on what you perk you have. The perks are divided into 3 groups based on their damage and available topics.
-The Asexual perk (Ace of Hearts) is the simplest of the three groups. It adds 10% bonus damage to both male and female opponents, however, it contains the least amount of unique dialogue options. If I am correct, there is only one place you can actually use the perk inside of a conversation. This perk is good for a Courier who likes to shoot first, ask questions never or if they’re ... y’know, asexual.
-The Monosexual perks (Friend of Dorothy, Super Spinster, Womanizer, Hustling Harlot) are the midground of the scale. They add 5% bonus damage to either male or female opponents depending on who the Courier would be attracted to. They also have dialogue options with the gender that they are attracted to.
-The Bisexual perks (Average Kinseyan, Biconic) are the most dialog heavy perks. They do not provide any bonus damage in combat, however, they do have the most amount of dialogue options of all of the perks. So if you want to experience all of the new dialog options or you just don’t care for combat, this is a very good choice for your Courier.

2. Features

- Rewritten tons of new dialog choices
- Added several new perks ( Made with Consistent Perk Icons modders' resources - TYSM )
- Restored certain discounts and quest lines
- Changed certain gender exclusive dialog to work with Courier's of either gender
- Maybe more ;)

3. Glossary

For some people, they may not be completely familiar with every term used in this description and in game, so I included this glossary to provide definitions for some of them that I use here. Examples provided are based within the context of this game and its portrayal of gender and sexuality.
Ace of Hearts: The perk for an asexual courier. Ace is a shortening of asexual
Asexual: A person who doesn't experience sexual attraction
Average Kinseyan: The perk for a bisexual male courier. Alfred Kinsey was a sexologist who made the Kinsey scale, which scaled a person's sexuality.
Biconic: The perk for a bisexual female courier. References modern internet speak.
Bisexual: A person who is attracted to more than one gender
Courier: How I choose to refer the player's character, since the gender and sexuality of the Courier may not match what you, the player, identify as
Homosexual: A person who is attracted to the same gender
Heterosexual: A person who is attracted to the opposite gender
Hustling Harlot: The perk for a straight female courier. A harlot is a very promiscuous woman
Friend of Dorothy: The perk for a gay male courier. A euphemism for a gay man, referencing Judy Garland's role as Dorothy Gale
MLM: A man who is attracted to men ( Bi and Gay Men)
Monosexual: A person who is only attracted to one gender ( Heterosexual and Homosexual )
Playersexual: An NPC in a game that is attracted to the player character, regardless of their gender, yet never expressing attraction to other characters or having an explicit sexuality
Super Spinster: The perk for a gay female courier. A spinster is a woman who never married
WLW:  A woman who is attracted to men ( Bi Women and Lesbians)
Womanizer: The perk for a straight male courier. Reference to the 2008 Britney Spears song of the same name.

4. Changelog

1.0.0 - Initial Release
1.1.0 - The 4 monosexual perks were restored to their original base game counterparts. This means that they will now work with other mods that add their own uses of said perks. However, they still have the reduced damage and changed titles / descriptions.

5. FAQ

Q. Does this mod require anything?
A. The icons made for the new perks are HD, so you will need a UI mod that can handle icon scaling (e.g Vanilla UI+ or Darnified UI). Otherwise, this mod only modifies things in the base game, Honest Hearts, Dead Money, and Old World Blues. Fun fact, Honest Hearts is only required because Ricky, the annoying guy who dies right away, had an option where you could diss him and that's the only use of any perk in the whole expansion.
Q. What is this mod incompatible with?
A. This mod changes several things so there might be some incompatibilities. The message that applies the perks appears when Doc Mitchell gives you the PipBoy, so anything that changes that might be incompatible. Also, any mod that might change the dialog options for the myriad of quests that needed to be edited might be incompatible if they mess with those topics, but I don’t think there would be because as far as I can tell, this mod is the first of its kind.
Q. I already have a saved game, how do I get the perks?
A. I would recommend using this perk from a new save as you might have missed some of the added dialog but it’s ok if you don’t want to. In order to get the necessary perks for this mod, go to Doc Mitchell’s house and type in the console “SPRActivatorChooseSexualityMessageREF.Activate Player 1”. This will activate the script, which removes the old perks and adds the new ones. Any quest that you already completed will be fine and any quest that you haven’t will have the new options available.
Q. Can you have gay sex with Benny?
A. Sadly, no. Benny refers to the courier’s tits, boobs, breasts, and jugs and since the male courier doesn’t have tits, boobs, breasts, or jugs as nice as the female courier, I wasn’t able to include it. You can flirt with him for a bit though, if that counts.
