Why does everyone ignore the non-animated clean refrigerators that are found in Lucky 38 and Ultra-Luxe? This mod skips them, although it included even DLC containers, and for some reason this mod improves only old refrigerators. I read all the comments and didn’t see anyone paying attention to this except me. Maybe I have a unique version of New Vegas with non-animated clean refrigerators? In any case, this incompleteness, which no one cares about, is really annoying.
I'd say it looks better to me with vanilla cubemaps. The modded ones almost make it look slightly greased up when not using an ENB. It did surprise me that the modded cubemaps reduce how bright the fridge gets when the Pip-Boy light is shone on it, though. It's a little interesting to me.
Anyhow, thanks for the vanilla cubemaps version, I'll be using it. :)
Maybe it looks as intended, but I think it's reflecting too much light in low-light conditions, which looks odd to me. Either way, you're quite welcome for the comparison, mate. Cheers.
Tried this and your medkit texture on both FNV and FO3. Absolutely gorgeus George they are a keeper and their simplicity just works :) Thank you for your hard work!

the fallout 4 cubemaps are decent, i was thinking of making my own
you could always try toning down the environmental scale in nifskope, that's what i did and it seems to look better right now
