This is a micro fix/change that is self-explanatory. If you're like me and like to have more than four creeps following you around on your bizarre ventures, you might have experienced the problem demonstrated on this educational photo taken in the Mojave:
That's because in customs of Finland and in vanilla New Vegas, the distance between the fellas is set to 192. I changed it to 70. For New Vegas; unfortunately I wasn't able to open Finland in my GECK.
I've seen this 'fix' before in other big companion overhauls but never on its own, hence the lonely version. If you'd rather not have a esp for such a small change, here's how to do it yourself:
Open whatever esp you already have in your load order and not planning to delete any time soon. In the upper section of the GECK, click Gameplay tab, then Settings, then search for fFollowSpaceBetweenFollowers . Change the value to whatever you feel is adequate.
