It's your gazillionth time on Freeside, you love the place, and know every corner of it, but somehow the criers on the street still think you are some newcomer.
-"If it can be bought, it can be found at Mick & Ralph's!" Alright!, i get it!, i've been here hundreds of times already!
This mod, "Freeside less annoying criers" makes it so you have to be at a very close distance of the criers for them to say their lines, freeing you from their constant pandering.
Now, all three of the criers, Silver Rush's, The Wrangler's and Mick and Ralph's would shut their mouths, until you get close to them.
As a bonus, i also added a fix that has been bugging me since i started playing: The Greeting Securitron would only greet you once you have walked INSIDE the fenced area. (Thats the robot that asks you for a credit check) Before this fix in vanilla you would be half way into Freeside, and this Securitron would start rolling towards you. This got me slain at least a few couple of times while figthing Thugs, the Securitron would roll towards me to ask me for a check while i was figthing, would force-greet, off putting me, and this would get my arse kicked. Believe me, its a lot better this way. And besides, you would only need this fix until you get into The Strip, once inside The Strip, this fix becomes inconsecuencial.
_______________ Instalation: Put the .ESP on your data folder, or use your favorite Mod Manager. Unistalation: Since this mod only changes criers variables, and just one near the Strip gate, it should be very safe to unistall midgame. (but why? they are so annoying!) Compatibility: Should be compatible with all mods, unless they change what this one changes, and i dont think there is one that does. _______________
"Freeside less annoying criers" has been tested by yours trully, and i feel its finally ready for release.
This is another one of the mods im working that try to makes Freeside an even awesomer place to spend your time in.
