    Sticky
Zion Trail and Zion Trail Enhanced will overwrite this mod's meshes, so you should load this mod lower than it. Or just delete the meshes idk.

Just putting this here in case someone wonders why this mod isn't working for them like I did lol

Huh thanks for the heads up. I wonder why they would touch vanilla meshes.

Love this mod but can you make a version to have ALL trees being replaced with invisible meshes? except the vanilla ones in jacobstown of course. personally i prefer the wasteland to only have trees in jacobstown

    would be greatly appreciated

edit: I figured out how to use nifskope and now my wasteland looks like this:

made all tall trees invisible. do I have permission to upload this mod? if not, would you like to post the update on here for others that may prefer their wasteland to look like this too?

Is the mod compatible with TTW?
    Just kidding
But is it compatible with the latest version of the original Mod?

I attached an image that has nothing to do with the question

I'm not sure if it's within the scope of this mod, but there's a big palm tree outside of Helios One with Vurts that I think would be better off gone.

    Anyway, goated mod.

Ok I'm doing something wrong with the LOD cause the trees this mod deletes are showing up after I generate LOD via xlodgen and then disappear as I walk up to said trees. I've installed this mod directly after WFO so it overwrites and then generated the LOD and those pesky trees are still there. I've directly overwritten the files in the WFO folder in MO2 with the files from this mod and then regenerated the LOD and those trees are still around - hell, I closed the game and started a new save and no dice. I'm using the main file "Wasteland Flora and Terrain Overhaul" from Vurt's mod. Here's a screenshot and a video link showing the trees disappearing right before my eyes. Aside from lighting a few prayer candles and saying Hail Marys, I'm out of ideas.

you might've enabled the tree lod option in xlodgen
other than that, i have no idea

Did you remember to delete the previously generated files before trying again? Dunno if that will help, but wouldn't hurt to try. Generally you'd only want the Objects lod checked. Dx15/1 2k textures 8k/8k atlas for settings.

I have a mod folder in MO2 specifically for my generated LODs that I empty out whenever I run Xlodgen.

Hey, I love this mod because it's just the right blend of more Flora while still feeling like a post-apocalyptic desert.

However after generating new LOD I've noticed alot of instances where there would be LOD for trees generated that do not exist in this version, causing more trees to show up in the distance that suddenly vanish when you get close.

I've tried checking if everything is properly installed and generated new LOD too but I don't seem to be able ot fix it.

Do you maybe have any solutions?

Which trees in particular? Also are you loading this after any LOD mods?

Oh nevermind, I think I found the culprit; I just realized my stupid ass also downloaded the vanilla only tree replacer mod from the original mod, so I'm pretty sure that was causing alot of issues.

This is from the original mod page. So it turns out that since many of these trees are now hidden and there is nothing in their place, then the wasteland as a whole is more empty in comparison with the original FNV?

hmmm I might look into it. I like it personally as is though. it doesn't feel more empty to me as there are so many added plants.

Yeah in general it doesn't feel more empty, u right, but in some places it's like this. The feeling that something was removed from here and there does not leave me lol, especially in comparison with the original.

Maybe it would be better to remove all the new trees in the plugin itself, leaving only cacti and bushes, so both vanilla joshua and yucca will be in place?

    Hi,
Would it be possible to have a version that instead of completely removing the trees, replaces those far from water sources with dead versions of them, yucca plants or other plants?

If I'm not mistaken someone had made such a mod a few days ago, but for some reason it disappeared.

Sorry for the late reply but that is far beyond the scope of this mod, although I would like a mod like that.
