There's a good chance this is borked somehow with this being the first thing I've ever done with F:NV. It does work for me personally on both manual install and Vortex install. If you're still having issues, I can try and help you but there's really not much I can do besides walk you through the steps.
Also, if anyone wants a darker version, let me know. The contrast that remains may not be to everyone's tastes and I get that. It'll take a bit longer given that I'll have to try and even out the shadows on his face texture which wasn't originally an issue, but I'll get it done eventually. EDIT 3/29/2021: While I was making the ENB-less comparison image, I realized we don't need a darker version. Woohoo! You can probably still make a darker version if it really does bother you, though.
Hey nerds, nerdlettes and otherwise. Quick update that nobody wants, but you're getting it anyway. I do plan to make a new version shortly but I have no intentions of doing it right this moment. Probably. Maybe. Okay, I'm actually not that sure. It could happen. There are a few issues with the current version, namely his unrealistic lip coloring. I was trying to stay as true to his original design as possible [although I did add some color] but now I realize it just looks "dumb and stupid and dumb" as a wise man once said. No, I haven't abandoned this nor do I want to. It's only been a month. Please put your pitchforks away. I assure you the coloring errors keep me up at night on occasion too. Wait, that's just me? Urgh. Okay.
No problem, mate! Though, to be fair, this makes him darker skinned than he is in his concept art. I haven't seen anything that makes him exact, but it would take probably all of 20 minutes to adjust the colors to the correct level. One problem: can't release the modified body textures without permission, which is why I haven't done it outright. I'd wager it's easy enough for one to do it themself, though. It'd just be a matter of remembering what settings you used to lighten the first texture and then applying it to the others.
