About this mod

A texture edit (meant for use with dragbody's Ulysses) that tones down Ulysses' face to better match his new skin tone without removing its added contrast entirely.

Permissions and credits
This texture is intended for use in conjunction with dragbody's Ulysses race. There is likely no need for it in a base Ulysses as his skin color there is closer to his concept art. (From what I've seen in videos and screenshots from others, anyway. I've only ever used db's version.)
You can still use it without it because it's a Lonesome Road asset, but it may look strange.
Since this modifies his original LR face texture this will also affect any other mods that use that texture specifically, including but not limited to: races, items (such as a playable version of his mask-face) and objects.

If you've been disoriented or outright blinded by Ulysses' forehead glowing with the unbridled fury of a million stars in their death throes, no more will you have to worry about if you'll have eyeballs tomorrow to pick up little Timmy from soccer practice. (There's even some forehead lens flare in the comparison screenshot. Not as much as is in some places, though... trust me when I say it can be much worse than this.)
This is just a quick little edit that softens his face without completely throwing it out the window... like you would a sock with a massive spider in it. Uh, don't ask how I would know that.
That being said, nothing else is changed. He still has his neck scars, facial hair, wrinkles, handsomeness etc and his skin on his face is still a bit brighter because it looks nice that way. He just can't be used as a flashlight anymore. Sorry. You're just going to have to use your Pip-Boy light instead.

This does not reduce the appearance of his seams. Again, this only modifies his face and no other part of the texture.
Painting out his seams would mean colorpicking from dragbody's textures and obviously I wouldn't be able to publish that since it relies on someone else's work.
All this does is make his face more closely match the color of his neck, meaning it also happens to more closely match dragbody's textures. That's it.

Requires Lonesome Road since he appears in that DLC. If you don't have it installed, nothing will use the texture.
DO NOT CHANGE THE FOLDERS. Because of how Ulysses' face works, the texture needs to go in Data/textures/fnvdlc04/armor/ulysses or it won't be used unless you modify him manually.

Unzip and place in your F:NV folder. If you want to make the folders yourself for some reason or you're having issues with manual installation, the file should be in Data/textures/fnvdlc04/armor/ulysses as mentioned earlier.
Alternatively, just install with Vortex or whatever mod manager you use. Though, I can't guarantee it'll play like anything but an angry toddler with any other mod manager because I only use Vortex.

GIMP : converting image from .dds format to .png and back again
Paint Tool SAI : actually editing the texture
