for anybody thinking of using this mod please be aware of the following: if playing the base game AFTER finishing FNC and you speak to Jenn in goodsprings she will ask you where you went for the TWENTY YEARS between the ending of FNC and the start of FNV. so this mod is a pointless waste of time as obviously in the amount of time between the 2 events you will have aged and hair will have lost its color
Glad someone made this. I found the age unrealistic. Personally I am 40 and lived a harsh life, homeless and abused, grew up sleeping on a floor and wearing heavy coat in summer to hide bruises. From 27 onward I lived in a small off grid cabin doing hard manual labor and self reliant farming. After all that my hair is still the same. Only a few gray hairs just started in my beard. Found the companions looking 60 to be unrealistic if they were supposed to be same age as me.
With all due respect, their ages aren't exactly mysterious. In FNC (2260), several are the same age as the player, though some are a few years older, which makes them at minimum 19. In the Mojave (2281), they have aged 21 years, putting them at minimum at age 40.
Both looks are possible though. Base mod coupling with their stress from the events of NC and the Divide, their hair could have grayed (as victims of extensive torture and trauma and most notably stress could cause graying hair earlier), as well as vice versa with their normal looks.
Really the only reason I made the mod Is, that I prefer the Companions original hair colors. But if you tried the mod then thank you for giving it a look anyway.
Yeah, them going full grey at 40 is kind of strange, so definitely like the change. Also cool to see a few more New California patches and submods being made!
