This is just a CaliberX patch for the great AM/B 17 mod made by SponeBobSlavicPants and ported to New Vegas by nickheggo. This is in no way my mod, all credit goes to the original authors. I'm just a realism autist who likes to patch his weapons, and I decided to share this one.
With this mod, the AM-17 will use the correct 5.45x39 cartridge, and the AMB-17 will use the correct 9x39 cartridge.
I've also tweaked the damage in accordance to the new calibers (and also because I thought the originals were too OP). The AM-17 will now do 19 base damage, while the AMB-17 now does 30 base damage. For those wondering why the initially weaker gun now does more damage, it's because the 9x39 cartridge is a much more powerful round than the 5.45, although it doesn't have as much range. It's big and slow.
This is just a patch i made for personal use, I never intended to upload it originally. For that reason, I don't how polished it is, so please let me know in the comments if anything seems fucky.
INSTALL:
Just install like any other mod, this will replace the .esp for the AM17 mod.
