Thank you to everyone, I hope it's useful to you all! It would be very nice if someone wants to share their mapmarker.ini with their Points of Interest, be it Mojave or DLCs, I could include them as optional downloads if you like the idea.
It works pretty well, but it's tedious having to pause the game to open MCM and put a map marker, I hope a hotkey can be added someday to make this more dynamic to use
You might want to advise people to be careful where they place the Map Markers, it can screw up scripting of the game. That's why The Strip doesn't have Map Markers. The activators and script NPCs to spawn or to trigger a quest might bug out if the player doesn't arrive from the the northern gate, or from the tram shuttle.
IMPORTANT NOTE: travelling to markers in places that usually are not reachable due to how a quest is done, you're most probably going to break some quests / game mechanics.
The odd name comes when there's an issue with a string, taking its variable name instead than its value, and on your pic it seems an array isn't initialized. Can you please tell me your nvse and jip version? (eventually when you start the game on main menu if you open the console it should show you)
When you say "my marker that was named", it means you're importing a file previously exported? or it's simply on a previous savegame?
Jip appears to slightly be out of date?, NVSE is the latest stable one from Silverlock.
The marker was one I created, it was correct when I checked after creating it, it was later that I noticed it had changed to the current name. I couldn't tell you when it changed, I didn't notice it for while. If it's an oddity on my end that's fine, it works and I've playing long enough to know where every place on the map is, I don't really need the labels.
Mmmh 55.72 is about end 2020, are you sure xNVSE wasn't already a mandatory requisite?
I admit I never tried with old versions like these. If for you an update is a problem, I could maybe test with your very own versions, but you should PM me JIP since I can't find that version anymore.
However, I would like to ask you if you can make an extra attempt eventually. Make a clean save: remove the mod, save on a new slot, reinstall the mod, reload that very new save. Everything will re-initialize from scratch, and if you had exported mapmarks on file you can simply reload them.
I have no idea, I don't remember installing a different font so it might have come with something else, it must have been there quite a while because I don't remember any other font.
Hey, could you please make an option so that we can set markers down inside of interiors? I want a fast travel marker inside my Lucky 38 suite so I don't have to take the elevator up every time to drop off my loot... Thanks!
Hello, hope you enjoy! At first I though to use a hotkey, but after some considerations I ended up thinking that the MCM solution was more reliable. Let me think a little more about it...

I have the prerequisites and It works fine although my marker that was named "Lucky 38" has an odd name, aMM31Ref.

- NVSE
- JIP NVSE
- MCM
If I may makke a suggestion, could you add a customizable hotkey that pops-up the name and category menu while playing?

Did you script it the way I suggested? ^^
