About this mod

A slight modification of DannyGA16's awesome "Ghillie Mod." My version will allow the player to wear the ghillie over his/her armor or clothing (like the real deal), and reveals the wearer's face. Can also be worn with various masks. Additionally, I've re-colored his version of a sniper rifle. All credit for original work goes to DannyGA16.

Description
===========
Sharing a personal modification of what I thought was the best ghillie mod on the Nexus.

The ghillie suit will be equipped along with the player's other items of clothing.  There will be some clipping through of the clothing underneath, especially if the base armor or clothing is bulky. The NCR uniform works pretty well as an underlayer, most civilian clothes work OK, and the standard recon armor works pretty well too.  If you use a nude body mod, be sure to put on some clothes underneath, or some embarrassing moments will ensue (yoinks - see images).

The ghillie suit in this re-do gives a +50 sneak bonus, and no other advantages.

If the ghillie does not automatically equip when it's given to an NPC, go to console mode (`), click on the NPC, and type "equipitem XX000ADD"  without the quotes, the first two digits (XX) replaced with whatever number the Ghillie Mod.esp is in your load order.  The rifle ID is XX000AE2, btw.

The rifle re-texture is the digital equivalent of a barracks rattle-can cammo job.  Blends in a little better with the desert terrain.

The modification of the ghillie (original mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/47653) simply consisted of a tweak in the GECK, moving the suit to the earrings slot.  The rifle was just a paint.net re-spray over the original texture.

Requirements:
=============
You MUST install DannyGA16's original mod first, according to his instructions: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/47653

Install
=======
1) Download and install "Ghillie Mod" by DannyGA16 (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/47653).  If you already have the original mod, and are not sure if you like mine, back up the original .esp, mesh, and texture files).  There are SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS you must follow for the original mod, or it won't appear in the game.
2) Extract the contents of the 'Ghillie Mod'  archive to your Fallout New Vegas data folder then activate the ESP in data options in the launcher, or use FOMM/NMM mod manager.
3) Manually-download file from this mod page
4) Unzip "Ghillie Suit Redone."  Copy all files into the Fallout New Vegas\Data folder.  Overwrite (replace original file) when prompted.
5) if you only want the suit or the mask, down load and unzip that respective file, copy into the data folder, and over-write when prompted.  You will still need the original mod.  You only need one file from this mod page.
6) see images tab for location of suit  - next to the Goodsprings school, in a chest under a tree.

Uninstall
=========
Copy and overwrite DannyGA16's original files over this one to return to the original or:
Delete "Ghillie MOD.esp" from your data folder.
Delete file folder "Ghillie Suit" from both your Meshes and Textures folder.

Incompatibility
===============
Same as the original mod; none known.  Any item of clothing that occupies the earrings slot will interfere with an NPC wearing the ghillie suit; whichever has the higher DT score will usually be equipped.  Clothing usually clips through the front of the ghillie.
Anything that radically changes the area around Goodsprings school may prevent you from finding the case where the ghillie is contained.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
The modified masks use the 'earring' clothing slot.  Any clothing or armor in that slot (that does not have a DT higher than that of the suit) will be replaced by the suit.
