History
The Colt Woodsman was designed by John Moses Browning in 1915. It was the first semi-automatic handgun chambered in .22 Long Rifle produced in any significant number. The gun was made by Colt from 1915 until it was discontinued in 1977, and about 700,000 guns were produced over its 61-year lifespan. There were 3 iterations of the gun over time, each with slight differences in aesthetics and controls. As the name would imply, the Woodsman was designed for sporting use, such as target shooting or small game hunting. The guns were all hand-fitted by Colt and were expensive to produce, but they had a reputation for good accuracy and reliability.
The Woodsman operates on a straight-blowback mechanism and feeds from a 10-round magazine. Maxim .22 caliber silencers were able to be fitted onto the gun either by threading the barrel or using a Maxim silencer threaded barrel clamp.

Stats
The gun is balanced to have a higher base damage than the vanilla .22 pistol, but it is not integrally suppressed and must be modded to be silent. It gives a 2x bonus to critical hit chance instead of the vanilla 3x, but the critical hit damage bonus is 3x base damage rather than 2x. It is also more accurate and durable than the vanilla .22 pistol.
The gun has a custom script attached to it which gives the gun a chance to dump the entire magazine upon firing as the condition degrades. This phenomenon commonly occurs in rimfire blowback guns that have been fired extensively, as the disconnector becomes worn down over time and will let the sear slip and go full-auto from time to time. At 75% condition, the gun has a 1% chance to dump the magazine with every shot. At 50%, it has a 5% chance. At 25% and under, it has a 25% chance. If the script activates on the first round, it effectively multiplies the gun's damage by 10 at the cost of 10 rounds, which ironically makes using a nearly broken gun more potent than a fully repaired one, at the cost of lower efficiency and the risk of it breaking in combat.
The weapon is affected by the "The Professional" perk. It is classified as an basic holdout weapon, so you can smuggle it into casinos even if your sneak is under 50.
