Would this mod have any conflicts with loot-reducing ones such as Famine? Ever since I've had this mod installed I've not been able to find any Password Bypass items. Not sure what could be causing it. I have Famine, JSawyer Ultimate, Mojave Raiders+Arsenal+Wildlife and Economy Overhaul. I don't have any other mods impacting loot I believe. Trying to figure out what might be causing it to not appear.
Update: I finally found one on a random enemy! Guess my loot rarity mods were just making it very hard to find.
If I have this mod set to use the E key I just go straight into the minigame, skipping using the bypass. If I set it to any other key it works perfectly fine. I thought Just Loot Menu was the cause but disabling it did nothing. I don't have any other mod that manipulates the activate key. What could possibly cause this issue? This is smallest modlist I've ever played NV with so IDK what could cause this
Would it be possible to make it so if player Science is above requirement, vanilla minigame starts, while if below requirement, password bypass activates?
Love the mod but I'm having one issue with it: I can't use the bypasses on terminals above my level even with the setting enabled in lStewieAl's Tweaks like you say in the description. I'm able to hack them normally with the tweak enabled but the bypass just won't do anything unless I meet the level.
oh yeah you're right, the script checks to see if your hacking skill is high enough to open it, I forgot about that. To fix it, you can remove the && (iSkill >= iLockLevel) from line 35 of the script in GECK.
Since this mod already comes with an INI file, would it be possible to add an INI option to make using the Password Bypass also bypass the Science skill check?
That would improve the Password Bypass usefulness, making it a very important tool for non-Science playthroughs, and/or optionally making this mod aligned with the Stewie's Tweaks related option.
That's a-okay in my book, as keys for doors and such also bypass lockpicking XP. Good to know, since I actually didn't want the XP from using an easy way past hacking.
probably not, I don't have fallout 4 installed but even if I did I don't know anything about papyrus scripting. But if anyone does they can port it themselves, no permission needed.
