NOTE: Do not craft your armors while having them equipped, otherwise the armor effect will get stuck. Unequip your armors before crafting them.

This is a personal mod I've been working on-and-off for a while, now. The gloves were the hardest part, and even then they're not as good as I'd like them to be (the male meshes are just the female meshes with swapped textures because the original male meshes were giving me a lot of issues, it's hard to tell don't worry), but regardless I've worked on this mod too long to keep it to myself at this point.

Despite the name, this mod does not actually change the armor class of these armors from "Medium" to "Light", it's just the name.

This mod removes the neck cover from the combat ranger armors and replaces the full-fingered gloves with custom-made half-fingered ones.

I made this simply because without the helmet on, wearing the ranger armors just looks like you're being dumb and forgoing the helmet... for some reason. So the goal of this mod was to make them look more natural without the helmet on, and I accomplish this by showing more skin in some key spots, in this case on the neck and fingers. To me, this makes it look less like you're supposed to be wearing a helmet with the armor, and goes great with the breathing mask from lonesome road and/or a cowboy hat.

This mod also adds recipes for these armors, and they do not replace the originals. All you need to do is take the original to a workbench, and you'll have the option to use it to get a light version, as well as keep the original.

This mod uses the meshes from Natural Duster Coats because they're a fine piece of work. The mod's permissions state I can use the assets without credit or permission, but I'm crediting Wombat anyway.

While this may not be to everyone's tastes, I'm releasing this here for archival purposes, as well as I guess hoping that someone else gets as much use out of these as I do.

Enjoy!
