Sun Guard Headgear Logic Fixes

The +1 PER effect present on most headgear in the vanilla game is referred to as the Sun Guard effect in the GECK, as it is meant to represent increased visibility from the wearer's eyes being shielded from the sun. Most headgear items carry this effect, even things like Bandannas.

This mod corrects a small number of items that should logically carry the Sun Guard effect, but for some reason don't. These items are:
  • Centurion Helmet
  • Construction Hat
  • Explorer Hood
  • Fire Helmet
  • Goggles Helmet
  • MP Trooper Helmet
  • Police Hat
  • Prime Decanus Helmet
  • Prime Helmet
  • Recruit Decanus Helmet
  • Recruit Helmet
  • Trooper Helmet
  • Veteran Decanus Helmet
  • Veteran Helmet
  • Vexillarius Helmet

These items all have visors similar to items which already have the effect.

Any items listed above which already have the Four Eyes effect have been given an unused vanilla "Four Eyes Hat" effect instead. This grants the standard +1 PER for the Sun Guard effect if you don't have Four Eyes, and + 3 PER if you do (+1 for Sun Guard, +2 for Four Eyes).

This mod also corrects a vanilla bug where Lucky Shades will give +3 PER with Four Eyes rather than the standard +2 PER. There doesn't seem to be any reason for this, so I'm almost certain it was a mistake.

Note: These fixes are already part of Unofficial Patch Plus.

Standard install procedure: add the file to your data folder manually or with a mod manager of choice and activate. Load order does not matter, since this mod is just a single script.

This mod can be safety uninstalled at any time and will have no permanent effects on your game. Just delete the file and you're good to go.
