About this mod

Level-up is delayed until the player finds a place to rest and reflect on what they've learned. Supports level-up messages, akin to Oblivion. Now fully configurable.

Additional Info:
Level-Up Reminders:
After the first warning upon earning enough XP, you will be reminded to sleep to level up every 5 minutes.
This can be configured by editing the "ReminderMessageTimer" INI settings (keep in mind that it counts in seconds).

Level-Up Messages:
After sleeping right before levelling up, you will receive a text-box message concerning your dreams.
*For levelling up from LVL2-99, the same generic message will play unless you change it in the INI settings.*
(this mod does not change the level cap, it merely supports mods that do. If you want to go past LVL99 and still get messages, you can copy+paste the default messages and change the numbers to reflect the levels. Otherwise, you'll get a blank message, but it's no big deal.)

Since you are free to make modifications for this mod (so long as you credit me as the original author), you can release your own custom INI settings for level-up messages.

Levelling Up After Sleeping:
You can only level up once from sleeping; if you have multiple levels stacked up, you will need to sleep additional times.

Legal Matters and Making Custom Versions Of This Mod:
I would've included the default level-up messages from Oblivion, but I was afraid that it would be copyright-infringement.
If you try to do something like that and publish it publicly on Nexus, make sure it's legal to do so.

You don't have to ask me for permission to release modified versions of this mod, so long as you credit me as the original author.

Finally, if you make a custom level-up message INI for this mod, if you'd like for me to include it under this mod page, feel free to ask me to include it either as a misc file or as a mention in the description. I'd love to see what you create :D

Safe to merge.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Requirements: xNVSE, JIP LN NVSE, and JohnnyGuitar NVSE are all necessary for the functions this mod calls upon.

Compatibility:
-Since this is scripted, it should be compatible with everything, so long as you don't have any mods that drastically overhauls the levelling system or the sleeping system to work completely differently.
-As such, mods like Delay Level Up aren't compatible (BTW, that mod has some issues on its own, so use it at your own risk).
-Also, while this mod works with TTW, the first level-up message will be inappropriate for those who start in the Capital Wasteland since it mentions Benny, but as mentioned before the messages can be modified.
-Stat Choices is compatible (the stat choices will only show up after sleep-levelling).

Future Plans: Aside from possibly making some more level up messages myself, I have no plans to further work on this mod, unless someone inspires me to do so for whatever reason.

Credits:
-Kudos to TrueCourierSix for his help on the mod, notably on helping me figure out that a script can have multiple "Begin" blocks, without which this mod would be buggy AF.
-Kudos to DoctaSax for his suggestion of using an alternative function to show a message.
-Thanks to Gilboron for inspiring me to make this mod.
-Massive thanks to Anro for guiding me through how to make Global settings, how to read INI settings, and how to create a heavily simplified message system to go along the INI settings. This new update owes a ton to his contributions.
-Massive thanks to TrueCourierSix (again) for their patience and help on troubleshooting the newest version of this mod.
-Thanks to MysteriousMrLOL for motivating me to add a bit more support to higher level caps and to clarify the description.
-Last but not least, huge thanks to those who contributed to NVSE and its plugins, without which this mod probably wouldn't exist.
