Really cool idea, but I'm having an issue, I can't quite seem to get any tracks to play.
Any time I put in a cap and select a track (in both the lightweight version and the standard version) the jukebox stays silent. If I interact with it again, it tells me that the track is playing, even though it's dead silent. I thought it was a conflict with Tunable Radios, but I disabled it and the same thing happens.
Just rename your OGG files to be the same as the ones in the archive and overwrite them in your Data folder. If you're handy with the GECK, you should also edit the script to set the correct track length in seconds, so that you can't interact with the jukebox while a track is already playing.
Isn't Blind Diode Jefferson a speaking character? If I were to add this script to him, he'd turn into a regular old jukebox instead of a unique character.
This sounds like a great idea but when I tried to load it I got a missing masters message for Fall Out 3 and several fallout 3 mods. Am I supposed to need them?
Make sure you're using the correct plugin for your setup. The FNV plugin is for people who only have Fallout: New Vegas. The TTW plugin is for people who are running Tale of Two Wastelands.
I think a mod that adds more jukeboxes throughout the wasteland would work perfectly with this mod. I noticed that they're kind of rare and I don't get use the mod to the full potential of Immersion. Otherwise it works great, Just wish there were more of them out there
Base-game New Vegas only has ten jukeboxes in total. Twelve if you include all the DLC. Fallout 3/TTW is a bit better with nineteen tuned to GNR, plus a handful of others that aren't supposed to be functional (i.e. the one in Vault 101's diner). The way I managed to implement the functionality here means it would certainly work well with any mod that adds more jukeboxes, as long as the modder uses the base game objects instead of creating new ones.
Looks great, but are all the songs from the base game available? I don't think Lone Star is, unless I missed it in the track selection in the description.
I used most of the songs from the base game, but not all of them. The message system used to display buttons is limited to ten entries, two of which I have to save for the "Change holotape" and "Cancel" options, leaving eight slots. Also, anything more than six options means the player needs to scroll the menu so I tried to keep the number of tracks at around six or seven at the most.
No moreso than a standard radio station, I would assume. The music only plays when you activate the jukebox, otherwise it's only running a low-priority background quest to detect when you do activate the jukebox and then play the music.

I hope I receive feed backs from you.
Thanks for the quick response.
