About this mod

This mod makes jukeboxes behave like actual jukeboxes instead of radios, meaning you can select specific tracks to play.

DESCRIPTION
It's always struck me as weird that jukeboxes in Fallout work like radios instead of letting you drop in a coin and select your preferred song. This mod changes that behavior. All songs cost 1 cap, but you can also "Fonzie" the jukebox with a high enough Luck and Charisma. There are currently four genres of music to choose from - Jazz, Blues, Rock, and Country.

Each type of jukebox has its own default tracklist, but you can find or buy tapes that you can then use to select a song from a different genre at any jukebox. Currently, there's no clean way to make that specific jukebox remember if you've changed the tape, and what tape you put in, so it'll always revert to its default track selection. If I can figure out a non-invasive way to change this, I'll do it in a future update.


LIGHTWEIGHT VERSION
The lightweight version uses tracks included with the base-game, so you don't have to install additional sound files. The tracks are sorted as follows:

INSTALLATION
Extract all the files in the archive to your New Vegas data folder (which is the same folder where FalloutNV.esm is located) and then enable the ESP either in your mod manager of choice, or under "Data Files" in the launcher that runs when you start up New Vegas.
