Currently doing a roleplay playthrough of an old Enclave member who survived the Oil Rig and Navarro who just so happens to have an addiction to Nuka-Cola. Needless to say, your mod was a welcome surprise for me! Thx for the added immersion!
the mod doesnt seem to work for me, i tested by consuming 200 sarsaparillas and nukas, no addiction. i don't know if its its something on my side or the mod itself since i don't know how to check for something like that.
Either you have a conflicting mod or an in-game anti-addiction ability, or maybe you just got extremely lucky. The addiction chance for normal Nuka Cola and Sars. is pretty low at 5%, and it lacks a "usage modifier" like some other drugs (meaning subsequent uses don't influence your addiction chance), although 200 should have been enough. You also have to wait until the effects of the "drug" have worn off in NV to see your withdrawal symptoms show up.
Mod Organiser didn't show any conflicts with any other mods, i do have two mods that add extra recipes to the Nuka Chemist perk, but that shouldn't affect the addiction part of the mod, right? i'll test a couple more times later and see if i just got lucky.
