Hi, great mod and all, but I had a quick question about the makarov mod it says is required. I personally don't like adding non-fallout guns to my fallout games, and you mention something about "just copy the textures folder". Can you elaborate? Do you mean copy/paste the makarov's texture folder into this mods directory? I'm just not clear on details.
Gavin... stop being against Marcurios, he had his reasons to report Desmo, if you don't know what happened, see this: https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/images/130/1403819-1593316264.jpg
I had a negative impression about Marcurios before because he acted arrogant and unfriendly on countless occasions, but now I'm convinced he is a complete <censored>. He simply doesn't belong here.
Guys and gals, this is very important: The original F4 mod doesn't have uncompressed textures; all textures are BC7! And there's no reason to have them here since DXT1-3-5, BC7 are lossy formats. Meaning that quality is lost permanently upon compression and CAN'T be restored upon decompression. It's like converting a 360p video to 4k; It'll look the same but take 400x the space on your HDD. Therefore, go ahead and convert the 20Mb _d and _s uncompressed files to 2.66Mb DXT 1.
Well, they deleted one of his mods, and I presume that's the one he didn't have with supposed "permissions." Been seeing a lot of.. modders getting banned as of late. Quite odd. From what I remember they usually get warned to take it down, or told to have permissions first to post it. Which he specifically did indeed have, as well as the assets were allowed by the companies themselves to be shared across other platforms.

Considering the mod that is no longer available was the same one @Marcurios was was whining about, I wouldn't be surprised if he was behind it. For crying out loud, this guy was going to replace all weapons in game with modern equivalents, and they ban him. Great work, Nexus! Definitely keep going this way, this won't drive people to post their mods somewhere else.
EDIT: Yep, it was Marcurios' fault. Hey, @Pickysaurus, can I get @Marcurios banned for a being a petty jerk to people?
Well then, Desmo should have gotten the permission first before uploading assets from other people, even after getting a warning already, SHOULDN'T HE? Or I guess we can now just blatantly do this without repercussions just because the goal justifies the means, eh Gavin?
I'll keep an eye for his pack on other mod websites, particularly the GUN, and I hope he won't make the same mistake again.
So, I was very busy working. Only to come here, and find out because some bs he got ban lol. Such a sad thing to happen. If anyone knows where he will be uploading next please share it.

Thank you for posting this so that we can all see that Desmo behaved like an entitled piece of sh*t who didn't give a damn about the site rules.
