    Can someone explain how I am supposed to add Millenia's IMI Galil textures to the M1 Garand? I installed both this and Millenia's IMI Galil via Vortex, but whenever I equip a battle rifle the textures are all out of wack; the game doesn't crash or anything like that, but the gun legit looks like toilet water haha.

    P.S. Where is this "box" that is supposed to have the gun and it's attachments by the Gun Runner's kiosk? Because I legit cannot find it.

      It's just to the right of the gunrunners stall.

      If you're talking about installing the mod, this is what worked for me (Vortex).

      #1 - Install M1 Garand and activate mod.
      #2 - Install IMI Galil but do not activate the mod.
      #3 - Right click on IMI Galil in Vortex, click "open in File Manager".
      #4 - Open the "textures" folder for IMI Galil. You will see 3 folders within it (effects, interface, weapons). Copy these three folders.
      #5 - Right click on M1 Garand in Vortex, click "open in File Manager". Paste the three folders from #4 directly into this folder.
      #6 - Done.

      I do this and still have texture issues (scope/cheek pad). I give up with this mod. Use one of the 100 other garand mods at this point.

    Loving the mod desmo but I am having an issue with the rifle, everytime I fire it the bolt ends up clipping into the trigger and can't seem to find a fix for it.

    Is it me or the accuracy is utter sh*t ?
    I don't know if this is due to you tweaking the gun but I have a fully modded Battle Rifle and impossible to score a hit. I don't think it is due to the scope but more to the gun having a HUGE dispersion like when my sight is on an enemy, the bullet just miss, contrary to the hunting rifle for example.

    Great replacement anyways ! Are you going to implement the BAR and other weapons from the same game too ?

      I fixed that issue with the weapon and it's not the mod's problem. The problem lies with the original stats of the Battle Rifle and This Machine. Also you're gonna need some form of dynamic crosshair to guide you. It has the same problem with the Hunting Rifle wherein the ironsight is a bit lower than where it actually hits. I recommend that you use Just Dynamic Crosshair and enable the option with the Bigger Dot so you'd see where it hits.

      As for the Battle Rifle and This Machine stat fix, here are my personal tweaks to the rifle which makes it one formidable weapon now and a worthy upgrade from the Hunting Rifle;

      Battle Rifle
      Min Spread = 0.03
      Spread = 0.00

      This Machine
      Min Spread = 0.025
      Spread = 0.00
      Fire Rate = 5.4000

      EDIT: really hope this helps you and the others, if I was given the go signal to release my esp for this which includes a scripted leveled list for the battle rifle gra mods i'll be happy to give it

    Holy s#*! this mod is amazing alongside with your, brush gun + medicine stick and cowboy repeater. its actually crazy how good they sound which brings me to my next question, where do you get the sounds and could you make a pack or at least recommend a soundpack that can even get near to the quality of the replacers. The sights are godly and it took me forever to find something to improve them, hopefully you get around to the service rifle and assault carbine because they're kinda s#*! by default and I see some justice being done to them. what I would like to see in the future: Hunting shotgun, Assault Carbine, Service Rifle, Marksman Carbine, Hunting Rifle and their unique counterparts. Maybe, solid maybe but if you could continue your series to even half of the content of WRP that would be amazing and would gain my vote + endorsement. p.s I realize these are crazy expectations but I feel that the mod community would greatly benefit from it :)

      Thanks, it's nice that the community appreciates! I hope to be able to continue to carry on the project. If one day it disappears, unfortunately, follow me on the GUN network.
      For the sounds, then I record a first source from the various battlefields, choose an appropriate position that has a certain echo (the game has an excellent sound system), then I modify them with elements that are not even I have found, they are resources that I have had in a USB for years, there is a job with Audacity until I get a satisfactory version. In the future I could release a special mod, of course, why not! (if I can of course, otherwise.. GUN) However, for now each weapon will also include an improved sound.

    Great replacer mod(weapons quality and textures), the old rifles now are going to sierra madre casinos for ghost peole usage, when this (totally new!) is going to be used)))

    Hmm. The model is very good but the textures and light channels seem to be really low resolution unfortunately. I'd love to use this as a replacer, as I too am working on a personal weapon replacement mod, but the textures make it a no go. Compared to heffys AR pack or the various millenia weaponry, I don't think it stands up.

    That said, I wouldn't recommend against this particular mod. After all its virtually the only m1 on the whole damn site thats better than the vanilla gun. If we could get hi res textures sometime in the future, this mod would really be worth it. Lots of potential.

      The 4K Textures can cause issues with the performances.
      FNV is 10 years which can't support all that weight unlike 2K Textures.

      There are plenty of guns with 4k textures on this site. Nevemimd that the textures for this mod aren't even 2k it seems.

      Brush gun yes, medicine stick... Maybe, for it I use the lever action carbine from COD MW 2019, it's one of the weapon I want to port very soon, I have to check if it has some special textures for the unique version

    that future complete weapon overhaul is something badly needed, don't get me wrong i like fnv vanilla weapons but their is only so much updated textures can do :/
    i look forward to the eye candy/updated look you'll provide NV and of course thanks for this
    (p.s. the fact that you also use asurah animations is a huge plus as that is the go to animation mod imo )

    Is it possible to add a version that doesn't use asurah reanimation pack? I only use hitman's ironsight recoil animation with subtle camera animations but would really like to use this mod as a replacer for these weapons :(

      It seems that it's compatible with the animation mods I'm using xD Reloading looks fine, I don't see any clipping or jittering when being used. Firing and reloading also doesn't present any bugs either. I also patched it to use hitman's ironsight recoil animation and it still works perfectly.
