For the homies who followed installation to a T but to no avail.I found a way… go into tweaks in the search bar type zoom. Click on Disable Weapon Zoom so it gets the dot on the left. Save game restart and boom. 😎
The option to enable this doesn't seem to appear in the Tweaks menu. Your other mods like Save Manager and Height Indicator work just fine, so I'm not sure what is the issue here.
Update for people with the same issue. It seems that all that doesn't work is the option appearing in the Tweaks menu. If you manually add it to the INI file, everything appears to work just fine.
[Smooth Iron Sights] bSmoothIronsightsCameraTransition = 1
Paste this at the end of the INI.
Nevermind, it looks like it's actually a problem with 'Viewmodel Shake Fix'. Disabling it fixes the problem.
Nevermind part 2, turns out I just fucked up and accidentally used an old file for this mod. There are no issues except for human error...
The mod broke for me after weeks of use idk how to fix it, its enabled in the tweaks menu and ive tried disabling then re-enabling. I think it broke after I added DWA animations but removing that mod doesn't help. Does it need to be in a specific area of the load order?
What exactly do you mean? I tried installing it manually or via MO2, tried this version and the one included in lStewieAl's Tweaks, but it still doesn't work.
if you have Stewie tweaks go to the pause menu and go to tweaks then look up smooth true iron sights and enable it. If it is already enabled I would say disable it then exit the game so it can take effect then go back and enable it and exit for that to take effect it seemed to work for me.

UPD Viewmodel Shake Fix was causing this not to work
Welp, just found out: the last version of "Viewmodel Shake Fix" fixed the problem of Smooth Iron Sights
