Love that this exists! How can I make it compatible with the honest hearts patch from the original mod? I'm not confident I'm not breaking things in FNVEdit.
The changes from the HH Patch have been incorporated in the 2.0 update of this mod, meaning that it's no longer an issue.
Hiya! The original mod's HH Patch only effects the Healing Poultice, Weapon Binding Ritual, and Daturana items' effects to bring it in line with what the main file does, so I think that you can use the original mod's patch with my own mod's main file and they both should work as intended. My mod already works by just using my main file in place of the original mod's main file after downloading the original mod.
If that isn't the case and there is a conflict, just let me know and I'll try to whip up a fix!
The Honest Hearts patch just relies on the original esp as a master. I'm not sure if just changing your esp file name would work, or switching the master files of the patch. Thanks for the quick reply!
(shows up 3 years late with starbucks) I've updated the mod to incorporate the changes from the original's HH patch! Now there's no more issues with missing masters, because now you don't need any .esp files from the original mod at all. You only need to download the original for its assets, and then you can disable/delete the original .esps.
Hello, how are you? I looked over your mod with xEdit and discovered duplicates of the Armor item and of the script. Did you alter something on these entries from the original? When I boot up the game it gives me two Armor items, one for yours, one for the original. I asked about the alteration because I'll delete the duplicates and leave only the recipe change.
Thanks for this! I can not help laughing at imagining someone using scrap electronics to perform a surgery and a pre-war banknotes as a bandage. I Have a few suggestions. Unpacking a doctor's bag should give a Surgical tubing. It is a component of Dbag recipe in vanilla and even with Med-tek mod installed can be used to craft Snakebite tourniquet and Mass purified water. I think technically Surgical tubing also needed for torso or head surgery so you can add them to Surgical Supplies craft requirement but it can make the recipe too demanding.
During "Tourist Trap" quest from "Honest Heart" you can use either Whiskey, Scotch, or Vodka for disinfection. Based on this and a common sense either of them should be interchangeable for Sur. Supp. recipe.
I'm glad you liked it! For efficiency's sake, I only included Vodka as the sterilizing ingredient, since adding multiple possible ingredients would have required either multiple recipes or scripting which I'm too inexperienced to manage. As for surgical tubing, from what I could tell from editing this mod in the GECK, this mod actually replaces surgical tubing with surgical supplies as an item, though I haven't tried to craft a snakebite tourniquet or mass purified water in my game with it, so I could be wrong that surgical tubing is still in there somewhere.
