"Jedi. The word is important to you. Somehow. If only you could remember why. Or who you are. Or how you came to the Mojave." This mod adds simple Jedi weapons and powers to Fallout New Vegas: but your character must reconstruct them, drawing on fragmentary memories supplemented by research.

Author notes
See below for the original mods on which I have depended for the lightsabers and the blaster; my understanding is that all of them have given permission for the use of their work, but if you use it, please credit them. The Jedi powers in this mod are my own work, based on Star Wars lore as best I am able; you have my permission to use or modify them (giving me credit as appropriate), but not for sale. In this mod, I have concentrated on the imagery and narrative of the original movie, "A New Hope", but you are welcome to extend it (for your own use or for release) with other weapons, armor, or powers.
File credits
Other authors on whom I've relied have generously given permission for the use of their work, and I give them credit together with my appreciation and thanks:
The Lightsabers are based on Moraelin's Lightsabers, https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35168 which is used by permission. The hilts are adapted from a Skyrim mod, Magicka Sabers and Star Wars Hilts Replacer, by Kraunik/Lord Haun and PatientMental99/MStill https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3174 which is also used by permission. The blades are adapted from a Fallout 3 mod, Ghogiels Lightsabers with Animated Glow https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/10179 which is released as a modder's resource.
The Blaster is based on mc_tammer/user826 Han Solo's DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/65012 used by permission.
The box of books storage crate in the hermit's shack is from Jokerine's Misc Resources and Tutorials - FNV https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/56009 and is used by permission. I highly recommend Jokerine's resources for your own mod work.
This mod incorporates Yukichigai's "Unconscious Looting" search function (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38204), which is used by general permission and with my thanks.

"Jedi. The word is important to you. Somehow If only you could remember why. Or who you are. Or how you came to the Mojave." This mod adds simple Jedi weapons and powers to Fallout New Vegas: but your character must reconstruct them, drawing on fragmentary memories supplemented by research. (You'll need lots of Prewar Books.) You never do remember how you got here; but there are still Empires to fight, and the ways of the Force to re-learn. "Jedi Awakening" is inspired by the imagery of "A New Hope." You will be able to craft simple clothing, and lightsabers based on those used by Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Darth Vader, as well as a blaster based on the weapon used by Han Solo. There's also a hermit's shack near the Yangtze Memorial as a player home.
