Have you ever found a cool looking piece of Raider or Merc armor, but can't justify wearing it because the stats are so abysmal? Even the leather armor you can acquire 5 minutes into the game is better than that junk. Well don't throw that armor out yet. This mod increases the DT of all basic Merc and Raider armors to 6, making it equivalent to leather armor. It also adds craftable reinforced versions of each of them with a DT of 12, making them slightly better than reinforced leather armor. Now you can live your dream of being a raider without getting murdered by the first radroach you meet.
The reinforced versions (which look the same as the normal versions because I have no art skills), can be made at a workbench by combining the base armor, duct tape, and either Gecko hide or Scrap Metal depending on the armor. However, if you prefer to cheat like a real raider would, you can use the IDs below to spawn them.
Base IDs:
For use with the "player.additem <BaseID> <Quantity>" console command. The first two digits of the BaseID will be the position of this mod in your load order. If you are using a mod manager you may be able to find it listed there. Otherwise, you will just have to guess.
