    Love the mod! You might want to update the description to advise people they need to either use WMX or download just the textures from WMX to prevent weirdness with the Heavy Assault laser and Wattz 2000. Also, did you ever talk to the devs about getting this mod added to FNC?

      I do have WMX on the recommended mods, I just did not remember how much I borrowed from it's resources.

      I did send pm to them a long time ago to freely use all the assets. I never got a response. Granted, it was months after the pm on this message chain, because nexus did not notify of me of any new messages back then.

    i like the mod very much man amazing work! But for some reason the scope for the heavy assault rifle has broken textures for me.....idk why...

      Download wmx (don't install - unless you want to use the mod) open up the archive and find the texture files for the laser pistol and plasma defender and install those files into this mod's folder like this: new california weapon mods > textures > weaponmodsexpanded > 1handpistol. that'll fix texture weirdness for the heavy assault laser and the wattz 2000.

    For some reason this mod seems to make the heavy assault laser semi automatic for me

      If I remember correctly, it was either a way to circumvent the 1st person animations not working correctly, or something's broken since the upload of my mod.

      I do remember using it my self, and I do remember it working, so... that's probably it. I probably should have kept more notes on these things. Sorry. xP

      Figured out the matter, you basically change the "Attack Animation" setting in the mod through FNVEDIT for the "Heavy Assault Laser Rifle" to "Attack Loop" (you can copy the original new california setting as FNVEdit sets up both mod and original values side by side). This worked for me.

      Haven't observed any first or third person animation issues.

      Fallout - New California is mentioned under the required files section. You don't have to play it, but you do need to install it.

      Hey man is there any way to make a patch that works with this: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/66659?tab=description so we don’t need to download FNC

      Well, the mod you linked says on the front page that:

      REQUIRES NEW CALIFORNIA TO BE INSTALLED!

      So, not sure how that would help exactly?

    Neat! I feel kinda bad spending the day tinkering with leveled lists then finding this. XD

    E: TBF, I enjoy tinkering with my mods probably just as much as playing the game though.

    This should totally be part of base FNC... maybe you can convince them to take the mod in whit credits given to you.

      This is cool as hell, and I just stumbled across it. :) Had no idea it was out there. I wish cool modders like yourself communicated with us on a more regular basis. Your creativity and hard work is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise suffocating experience. :)

      If you'd like, we'd be glad to integrate it in an upcoming patch. But won't do so without your explicit permission and communication.

      Beyond that, any weapon that is added, is listed how and where in the description.

    Great mod, I loved the FNC laser weapons, one cuestion, are they implemented in the leveled list?

      Not to my knowledge. I could add them to the super mutant weapons lists (for example) if people want me to via update script.

      I think that it would be cool to implement them in the random scabengers/mercenaries leveled list, to use this mod with "the living desert" mod.

      AEP / AER weapons are utilized by so many mods etc. that replacing them might cause problems, and I like having more weapon variants in my game than not. :P
