About this mod
An assortment of changes to thrown explosives. Intended to make them less awkward to use.

If you ever threw a grenade in FNV you surely notice a few things. First, they are slow. Second, they take too long to pull out. Third, they don't go far at all, more like, the Courier throws like a whimp. This can be improved with the use of perks like Heave Ho! or Quickdraw. However, having to burn two perks to make them acceptable is not what I call good design. The player should not need of perks to make weapons decent, perks should make weapons more exciting. Because of this I made this mod with some global changes to thrown explosives and some local changes to the most unwieldy of the lot.
Global changes:
- Each point of strength increases throwing range by 5%
- Each point of agility increases throwing explosives attack speed by 5%
- Draw time for thrown explosives is halved
Specific weapon changes:
- Dynamite base attack speed increased from 0.4 to 0.5
- Firebomb base attack speed increased from 0.4 to 0.5
- Firebomb explode on impact.
- Firebomb burn damage increased from 4 damage per second to 8 damage per second. Duration remains 8 seconds
- Incendiary grenade burn damage increased from 6 damage per second to 8 damage per second. Duration remains 15 seconds
New weapons:
- Stun Grenade: Deals damage to the enemies head potentially crippling it, causing a brief stun and greatly decreasing their accuracy.
New recipes:
- Firebomb: Requires 1 empty sarsaparilla bottle and 20 flamer fuel. Can be crafted both at workbenches and campfires
- Dynamite conversion: Allows to turn long fuse dynamite into normal dynamite at a workbench
Requirements:
Honest Hearts DLC is required, nothing else.
Installation:
Extract the files contents on your Data folder in the New Vegas directory. Enable the ESP file before launch.
Uninstalling:
Disable the ESP file and delete it if you want.
