About this mod

Adds a 5.56mm "Marksman Rifle" to New Vegas, including leveled list integration. The new rifle does more damage per shot than any other 5.56mm weapon but has a lower DPS than the Marksman Carbine. It has scope, silencer, and extended magazine weapon mods. Replacer versions are available, replacing the Marksman Carbine.

This mod adds a new weapon, the Marksman Rifle, chambered in 5.56mm. It has the highest per-shot damage of any 5.56mm rifle in the game and a very low spread (only slightly worse than the Sniper Rifle), but its DPS is still lower than the Marksman Carbine due to a lower fire rate. Like the Marksman Carbine, it is considered a "Tier 5" weapon and has leveled list integration.

The following mods are available for the Marksman Rifle: Extended Magazines, Scope, and Silencer. They can be purchased at vendors that sell Tier 5 weapon mods, as well as at the NCR Arms Merchant.

I have also added a unique version of the rifle, placed in the game world. It is in a location that does not have any unique weapons in the unmodded game. It has a night vision scope, higher item health, slightly higher damage but a lower rate of fire, a critical damage bonus, greater critical chance, slightly higher weight, and a small increase in accuracy (spread-wise and in VATS).

This weapon's appearance is inspired by both the Mk 12 Special Purpose Rifle and the Mk 11 (SR-25). Like the Mk 12 Special Purpose Rifle, it is chambered in 5.56mm.

The Special Operations Rifle is found behind a locked gate in Bloodborne Cave.

Versions are available either for use with the base game, or with the DLCs.

KNOWN ISSUES

CONFLICTS
It could conflict with anything that alters the location where the Special Operations Rifle is placed (see Locations). The replacer versions will conflict with anything that alters the Marksman Carbine and/or the All-American.

OPTIONAL FILES
I have included versions that replace the Marksman Carbine and All-American. The "Full Content" versions of these replacers also add the Special Operations Rifle unique weapon. It's balanced differently than the All-American (which has a higher fire rate and higher damage, but no suppressor, no critical damage bonus, and a lower critical chance - the All-American is balanced as closely as possible to its unmodded form, but with updated damage, sight FOV, etc. to put it more in line as a better version of the Marksman Rifle).

INSTALLATION
Only download ONE of the five main/optional files, depending on your preference. Put the contents of the mod folder (the folder with the .esp inside of it) into your Data folder, or use a mod manager. To uninstall, delete the mod's files (.esp, meshes, textures, and sounds) or uninstall using a mod manager.

ADDENDUM
I have made a lot of mods. Because I like to create different versions togive the user plenty of options, it's extremely difficult for me to bundle my mods together. I recommend getting the FNV Mod Limit Fix by iranrmrf, or try using a tool like Merge Plugins by Mator.
