When I actually used it, it was a little different from what I expected. It can only move the muzzle along a fixed trajectory, strafing the target, interesting but not particularly interesting. If only he could lock onto the target.
ngl this is really effin cool but it'd be even cooler if there was a way of integrating this seamlesly into the vanilla game, making it feel like it was always a part of it. The way it is now, with them being found in the Mojave Express, seems to break balance a lot since they're really powerful, and it doesn't make a lot of sense to find such powerful tech at a place like that. Someone below suggested making schematics for them, and that's a pretty good idea. To add to that I'd suggest placing a "broken" version of them, in the BoS bunker or some other place known for being hi-tech, that the player can repair and then adquire. More importantly I'd really like to see something like a high Repair/Science requirement, it would make specialized builds feel more unique, and could help with balance if they require high stats to access.
Currently messing around with this to add the turrets into the world in a more balanced way.
So far: I've made a schematic for the Minigun Turret and placed it in the GunRunners HQ (hard to get to) Recipe: 2000 5mm rounds + 2 Miniguns + 10 Scrap Metal + 1 Sensor Module (hard to make)
