Due to getting rid of the doors to the new area of the Strip, The Strip Open Patch is no longer needed for those that use the mod.

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates but with both the holiday season and my birthday it has been pretty busy. I do have some updates:
    1. Casinos should now work properly. I really over looked the scripting for this. My bad. It should work now and chips should successfully be traded in for caps.
    2. I will be making a patch for NV Interiors and NVFR. It should be out before next weekend.
    3. I will be working on fixing the audio. Some people are saying that it sounds too low. I will be fixing that in the coming days.

For some reason The Freeside Open Patch is not working right. Vanilla NPC's are not showing up in the Freeside world space. Until I can figure out what is wrong the Freeside Open patch is taken down until further notice.

You are f***ing awesome! That is all. This really livens up the game amazingly. Really breaths so much life into Freeside. Thanks.

When using the NVR patch (note that I did as indicated below and changed the file to an esm), lots of lod objects are left in the area between Michael Angelo's and Vault 21. This is causing many major issues for me like messed up roads, flickering textures (MA swaps between lod and regular, for example) and a junk wall that I can walk through in order to get to the new casinos. Any ideas for solutions?

Edit: Note that when not using the patch the lod issues go away but you have to clip through the NVR walls. Until fixed, this appears to be a matter of poor visuals but functional without console or good visuals but required usage of the console. Either way, keep up the great work! This may well be my favorite freeside mod I've found so far. If I can get this issue fixed and it doesn't conflict with other mods, I believe this may end up becoming a permanent staple on my mod list.

If anyone is having issues with buildings, download the ESP version. It's simple to convert the file to an ESM in FNVEdit, and all you'll have to do to get the audio working is go into Sounds/Voices and rename the folder so that instead of esp, it ends in esm.

I had this issue, too. Were you able to find a solution?

I had a same issue. Are you using RWL? If so, it conflicts with this mod. Unless the modder releases compatible patch, we have to wait for it or give u

I just installed this mod last night. It's the only mod I'm using that changes Freeside and The Strip except for Uncut Wasteland. For some reason there's clipping with a lot of the casinos and buildings this mod adds and I can't access some of them Also none of the npcs have dialogue or open their mouths to speak. Is uncut wasteland compatible with this mod?

Im having this issue as well many of the doors are covered with new entrances and such but arent lined up or placed properly. None of the new npcs and dialogue are actually talking, and Im using uncut wasteland. I dont want to uninstall this but Ill take uncut wasteland over this. It seems like it isnt finished yet. Hoping for an updaye to this because the concept is awesome and perfect for this game imo.

This mod doesn't work well with Better New Vegas, a lot of buildings are clipping into each other. Could you make a version of this mod that fixes most of the issues with this?

It´s a great mod! But, is there a way to restore the "vanilla Freeside" after unistalling the mod?

    Thanks!!

So I'm having a bit of a problem with several things, and its really affecting my overall progress with the game.
I started out downloading a whole bunch of mods to sort of overhaul my experience of New Vegas once I had gone over to PC (I had been researching the proper way to go about it before)
And for a while I had Freeside and The Strip Redone, along with Freeside open installed and active for a while during my entire run.
I had problems with a few mods, such as XRE cars along the way that I eventually got around to solving. Only until I had reached Freeside did things take a turn for the worst.
When I entered Freeside the mod seemed to be working. I didn't see any barriers, I saw some of the new buildings, etc. Thats when I walked up past where the gate to the Kings section would be did my game crash. So I tinkered with my load order, that still kept crashing for a bit each time I passed the Kings building that time. Keep in mind Im running off of NVSE with speedy resources, NVAC, and 4GB Patcher.
So I decided to go to a recent previous save before I even entered Freeside after uninstalling the Freeside open mod. Thats where things started to glitch.
Instead of the barriers and stuff being back, it was just the doors to the next section, and I could see right through the wall. Sometimes when I even entered Freeside the ground would disappear and I'd be around a bunch of floating buildings. So I went back to the save after uninstalling ALL mods to do with Freeside, saved, went back and made a fresh install of everything, set it to the top of the load order since the bottom setting wasn't working, and now all the npcs except a few next to the North gate are gone, the road and main ground is gone, the barriers aren't there, whats something I could do to fix this?
P.S. I'm using MO2 for installing my mods, so maybe Mod Organizer 2 is at fault here
