I ended up just uninstalling this mod. I encountered these things quite a few times, including a bunch near the pre-War nuclear test site and east of Novac. But since they do not move, explode long before you get near them and only generate very mild radiation for a few seconds, I saw no reason to keep this mod installed.

Now if they actually moved like the tumbleweeds in Goodsprings, exploded when you're actually near them, and actually delivered some serious RAD damage this mod could be worth installing for the sake of novelty. But as it is, I cannot endorse it. It's going to have to offer something better than this mod adds some stationary glowing bushes that disappear when you approach.

I  always loved mod users who come to your page and go "Not going to use it."
      Always reminds me of this

Managed to fix this in the geck, they were set to die after 1 second of getting into combat (they're set to be aggressive and will "attack" the player by staring at them ominously, which is also why they stop moving) i assume this is to stop them getting into the ground and making some place permanently irradiated but it also masks their weird stuttery animation which is why i think they were cut because other than that they work perfectly fine

I can imagine that Nightkin Wind Brahmin Salesman saying, "Aaah, yes! Extra special Wind Brahmin! I must sell it to humans!"

I think Obsidian had intended a Tumbleweed follower of sorts that came out during combat to attack (Roll into) your enemies when you had the Wild Wasteland trait. Similar in practice to the mysterious stranger/lady luck appearing, just not restricted to vats. If you actually see this comment and actually toy around with that idea, or not, just know some people prefer their tumbleweeds to sound like metal like they had in the vanilla unpatched game. So I'm positive a seperate version implementing the metal sound for even this mod would make someones day.

This is great, but just wondering, how are you getting that Sierra Madre-type lighting in the Mojave? Another mod?

You should add Crescent Canyon and Mesquite Mountains Crater as spawn locations for these, they're stated as the original spawn locations by wiki.

Does this have anything to do with that tumbelweed pile?
I recall there being some kind of 'ashpile' that was in fact a tumbleweed one.
I always assumed that tumbleweed pile is what gets spawned if you destroyed a tumbleweed. Who knows.

I always thought the radioactive tumbleweed was one of the most interesting cut content for NV (along with irradiated radroaches and legion creatures) and I was disappointed that the New Vegas Uncut series didn't restore them. I would've done it myself but I'm not skilled enough with the GECK, unfortunately. Anyway, thank you so much for this mod!

oh heck this is amazing!! I love this kind of cut content, benefit players in both positive & negative way since you will accumulated a lot of Rad-x and Rad-way during playthough..
