About this mod

A quick tutorial going over how to use the TTW version of FO4 Power Armor Overhaul (by Dragbody) without using TTW.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Let's say you want to use the TTW power armors that come with Dragbody's FO4 Power Armor Overhaul, but don't want to use TTW, maybe because you're already in the middle of a playthrough, if that's the case, then this tutorial is for you!

NOTE: This walkthrough is assuming that you:

1. Use Mod Organizer 2 as your mod manager of choice and know how to install mods from archives, as that is what I use and am unsure if other managers have the functions needed to follow this tutorial.

2. Have experience in creating and extracting archived files.

3. Have experience with using the in-game console.

4 (optional). Have experience using GECK.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

First off, obviously, you'll need the actual overhaul itself.

Next, you'll need the Dummy ESM file mod.

DOWNLOADING

You can get the FO4 Power Armor Overhaul by simply Googling it, where you should find videos going over the mod, and a link to download it. Once you have access to the mod, download it and putting somewhere safe.

You can get Dummy ESM file in the link above. Once you have access to the mod, MANUALLY download it and put it somewhere safe.

EDITING

This step only applies to Dummy ESM file, keep the overhaul wherever you put it.

Once you have the archive of Dummy ESM file, extract it anywhere you want. You'll then be greeted with the ESM file itself, copy the ESM and paste it in a new folder, rename the files to different things so that you can paste them multiple times, until you have seven empty ESM files. Once you have the seven empty ESMs, rename them again into the names of the ESMs that come with TTW, until you now have seven ESMs named fallout3.esm, anchorage.esm, thepitt.esm, brokensteel.esm, pointlookout.esm, zeta.esm, and taleoftwowastelands.esm. Now take all seven ESMs and create an archive out of them, then put the new archive in a safe place.

INSTALLING

Install the FO4 Power Armor Overhaul as you normally would using the "Install a new mod from an archive" feature, activate the mod in your modlist, then once the three ESPs show up, only tick the TTW ESP in the load order and leave the two other ESPs unticked.

Install the seven empty ESMs archive the exact same way, and activate all seven archives

The mod should now be installed and working. The FO4 Power Armor Overhaul comes with all of the textures and assets needed for both the non-TTW and TTW armors to exist in-game, and now that you have the imitation Fallout 3 and TTW ESMs, it should work flawlessly. The only issue now is to actually obtain the armors in-game.

OBTAINING THE ARMORS IN-GAME
Fortunately, all the armors, with the exception of only a few, have the same base IDs as they originally had in Fallout 3, so a quick search on Nukapedia should help you get the base IDs, just make sure to type the first two load order digits correctly. There are, however, power armors that Dragbody created from scratch, like the T-51 Outcast Power Armor, which you'll have to use GECK to obtain.

I really hope this proved helpful, if something doesn't work right, lemme know in the posts section.
