      New Vegas Reloaded and Darker Nights (I also use rainy days). You're actually looking at the default vanilla weather, just with engine edits. http://tesreloaded.com/thread/494/package is the link for Reloaded. Take some time to tinker with the ini file it includes. Here is my setup:

      [WeatherMode]
      Enabled= 0
      [Shaders]
      Water = 1
      [Effects]
      AmbientOcclusion= 1
      BloodLens = 1
      Bloom = 1
      Cinema = 0
      Coloring = 0
      DepthOfField = 0
      GodRays= 1
      LowHF = 1
      MotionBlur= 1
      Sharpening= 0
      SMAA= 1
      SnowAccumulation= 0
      Underwater= 1
      VolumetricFog= 0
      WaterLens = 1
      WetWorld = 0

      I tried it out, only problem was the distance looked glossy, and I couldnt find an option to turn it off, do you know what would cause that?

    the textures replacing the cloth are pretty good, though I'm not a fan of the effect added to the recolor of the armor itself.

    Nevertheless, thank you for submitting this retexture ! Legion needs some luv

      I appreciate your opinion and I definitely agree with you on the effect I added to the armor. I had a vision for the armor and I believe I achieved it. I considered taking the time to work on the micro details and create something worthy of screen-archery but in the end couldn't find the justification for it. Too much detail puts something at odds with the vanilla aesthetic, and is more than likely beyond my amateur skills of texturing. Also, this is intended for a video I want to do and its upload was simply for anyone who might want it to use it. If I ever do a re-texture purely for the community, I will definitely make it easier on the eyes.

      Your best bet for an amazing Legate armor is to wait until it is made for the Fallout 4: New Vegas project and ported for New Vegas, as some content already has.

    Sad that you can't have this and CNR, the CNR version armor overwrites it no matter what your load order is.

    Fix?

    (Come to think it's because the retexture isn't a .esp or anything, so if you have any mods at all that change the legate's armor that have esps or esms those overwrite this. Could be fixed with a version with an esp or something but idk)

      I use Qwinn's New Vegas Redesigned 3 with the CNR patch and my Legate uses the vanilla armor. You can always use xEdit and remove the records.

      CNR does not overwrites the old legate's armor but makes Lanius use a different gear.

      If you want to keep the old style, you simply need to changes either the nif files for the Legate armor from CNR files or edit the .esp to have Lanius with his vanilla armor.
      Another option would be to download this mod which makes the vanilla armor available right when you meet Caesar : https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35141

    Now The Legate Lanius has a worthy armor to be considered as such.
