DESCRIPTION
As a child of the 80s, I grew up watching my heroes solve their problems with a liberal application of bullets to skulls, usually from a compact, stamped-steel machine pistol such as the Uzi or the MAC-10. I've been fascinated by these little bullet hoses ever since, so really, it was only a matter of time before I tried my hand at creating something like them for New Vegas.

I started with the base game Light Machine Gun mesh and got rid of everything except the receiver, which I shrank down, and then I enlarged and relocated the ejection port. I then slowly started adding pieces back, such as the trigger, trigger guard, the flash hider and the iron sights (which I swapped around, so that the notch is at the back and the post is at the front). I cut the pistol grip in half and placed it behind the magazine well, then added the charging handle slot and charging handle from the Silenced .22 SMG. Lastly, I added the stick magazine from the 9mm SMG before converting the entire mesh to use the 9mm Pistol's handling, firing and reloading animations.

Gameplay-wise, this weapon has very high spread and a ridiculous rate of fire. It'll only take you about a second and a half to empty the magazine, so trigger discipline is a must, unless you have a lot of caps to burn for more ammo. The 9mm version is considered a holdout weapon while the 10mm version is an improved holdout weapon, and requires a Sneak skill of 50 or higher to smuggle it into casinos. Both versions can be modded with the 10mm Pistol Silencer. I've also added the weapon to all the appropriate form lists, so that all perks and challenges that affect submachine guns (i.e. The Professional) will work as expected.

LOCATION
The weapon can be purchased from the Gun Runners as well as other vendors around the Wasteland, or found in random loot drops. Of course, if you're feeling lazy, you can always use the following console commands (Substitute ## with the number of the mod in your load order):

player.AddItem ##000ADE 1 ;Gives 1 9mm Mini Machine Pistol
player.AddItem ##000ADF 1 ;Gives 1 10mm Mini Machine Pistol

INSTALLATION
Extract all the files in the archive to your New Vegas data folder (which is the same folder where FalloutNV.esm is located) and then enable the ESP either in your mod manager of choice, or under "Data Files" in the launcher that runs when you start up New Vegas.
