Marksman Carabine Bullpup conversion kit.

Add's a Bullpup variant of the Marksman Carabine for you to use, by finding and using a Bullpup Conversion Kit,  you can turn your regular carabine into a Bullpup,  the resulting Bullpup won't have the default scope attached anymore, instead it will use ironsights,  but don't worry, you will be able to buy and equip a ACOG sight(that let's you see through directly, no annoying reticle screen), a Supressor for stealth and extended magazine!

The modification is mostly astetic but it does change some things about the weapon, nothing much, just a few tweaks in damage, spread, critical etc,  since it's now a bullpup design the stats change were made with bullpup pros and cons in mind to make sense to real life, more or less but nothing too radical.

There is a special kit that enables you to convert the unique "all american" variant too if you want to, all the weapon mod's from the Bullpup Marksman Carabine can be used on the All-American too!

How this works:

-You need to find a Marksman Carabine Bullpup conversion kit, there are at least 5 in the game, one somewhere in nipton, one somewhere in novac, one somewhere in the crimson caravan, one somewhere in the gunrunners HQ and the last one somewhere at Camp McCarren, look for a medium size green case with big white letters.
(list of the location at the end of the page for those who don't want to bother searching :v) 

-You need at least 1 Marksman Carabine.

By opening the pip-boy,  click on the Conversion Kit, the mod will check if you have a Marksman Carabine with you,  if you don't a message will pop-up informing you that you need at least 1 marksman carabine in your inventory, but if you do,the rifle will be removed and replaced with the new Bullpup,and since you would need to take the weapon appart to convert it,  the new Bullpup will have full health disregarding if your Carabine was in poor condition or not. 

-If you have more than one Carbine in your inventory,  it will randomly choose one so be careful.

-You will also lose any weapon mod you may have on it so i recommend using a unmoded one and dropping the modded one just in case, the selection is random.
 
-After using it the kit will be consumed and you won't be able to revert the weapon to it's original state. 
You can use the regular Marksman Carabine to repair it, and another converted ones but i would not recomend that because that would probably be a waste since there are only 5 kit's and you dont get any bonus from doing so :v

-For the unique All American variant you will need a unique kit called "All-American Bullpup Conversion Kit".
the case is the exact same but the text says "ALL-AMERICAN" instead of "MARKSMAN CARABINE".

Compatibility:

-Any retexture will be ok, the bullpup still uses the vanilla texture,but the retextures for the All-American won't affect the ACOG since it has their own textures, but just tell me about it and i will make a patch for that retexture.

-The supressor can be affected by retextures for the sniper rifle since it uses the same texture and model as the vanilla sniper rifle suppressor but it should not be a issue.

-Mods that make the Marksman Carabine scopeless are even recomended, since the bullpup variante loses the vanilla scope.

-Any mod that drastically changes the Vanilla model of this rifle will work just fine,  but my bullpup variant will still look similar to the vanilla.

Plans for the future:
-Solve the issue this mod has when dealing with modified weapons,  if your marksman carabine is has mods installed you will lose them during the conversion process, but i couldn't find any way to do so, idk if the creation kit has any function on that, if someone want's to hel just tell me in the comments. 

-If this mod shows some success maybe convert more weapons,  it was a fun project to do, it's far from perfect since i'm new to 3d editing and messing with nifscope but i like it a lot and i'll try to give my best, right now the model has some issues like a missing part on the magazine loader, and unrealistic bolt placement that would not make sence in a bullpup weapon, but i want to fix it in the future, hope you enjoy

Please report any issues with any misaligned scope if you find any, ill look into it, misaligned sights are a pain to play with i know.

Marksman Kit
Novac: inside the player room,  under a small table near the bathroom.
Gunrunners Hq: inside the building, under one of the workbenches in the production area.
Crimson Caravan: inside the main office,  behind the desk on the left of the chair
Nipton: In the building you find the powder ganger that survived the attack with cripled legs, after entering the door look left in the middle of aome tin cans near a open locker
Camp McCaren: near Contreras on top of one big crate almost in front if him
