There's an option for that in my Tweaks engine plugin which makes it so you need to hold shift to target friendlies

Amazing. I was literally looking for exactly this just last week. I'm terrible at spotting enemies in night situations and often use VATS to scan for them, annoying when it keeps entering VATS when no enemies are visible and just targets my companion. Came back to NV from Fo4 and really missed this feature, since Fo4 has it as standard. Great work.

Have a look at Gopher's mods. There's a few tactical recon mods that add a device (TAC) that boosts awareness and lights-up distant enemies.

This appears to be a standard nvse miracle mod courtesy of lStewieAl, so I'm mildly conf(am)used:

what is up with all the Void's basement comments?? Did April 1st pass through here? One guy sounded pissed and distressed.

Sorry if my question will seem naive to you, but I'm not an expert. I've already installed NVSE, NVSE plugins, NVAC etc ... and everything works perfectly. I use FOMM as mod manager. I would like to know if it's ok to use FOMM to unpack and install this mod as I did for all the others, thanks

Yes you can use FOMM, the dll should end up in Fallout New Vegas/Data/NVSE/plugins/nvse_vats_ignores_teammmates.dll

The mod is installed correctly, says FOMM. But I didn't notice any changes in the game. With VATS, I continue to aim for ED-E along with all the enemies. Does the mod only work with the "bipedal" companions, like Veronica and Raul, and not for ED-E and Rex? Can you help me?

This sounds like a mod that would be great... if I could find it. I have no idea who Void is, or where his basement is. TrueVoidWalker doesn't help much either. I don't know who or what a istewie or carxt is / are. Why do people do this. What is the reasoning for not putting in a location screenshot?

Is it a matter of "HA Ha! Here's a hoop, Woop, here's another hoop" Thanks for nothing.

And thank YOU for your oh so helpful answer. You're so smart, why don't you help someone out rather than just laugh at them?
