Description
This mod enables a second visible weapon on the character model through the use of an engine hack. The second holstered weapon will always be the last weapon you had equipped, and will be removed if you unequip your weapon. The second weapon however can be manually re-equipped in the armor menu.
This does not require any mesh/model patches for weapon mods. Every weapon mod is compatible with this system.
This system does not support 2hh (2HandHandle) and 2hl (2HandLauncher) weapons.
Installation & Requirements
Needed files:
JIP LN NVSE Plugin v.54.86 (Older versions will NOT work)
NVSE 5.1b4
Simply extract the package to your Fallout: New Vegas data folder and overwrite. If you have a skeleton already installed, you might need to make patches. By default, the skeleton included in this package is from the Ragdolls mod, already patched for Diagonal Movement and this mod.
Compatibility
The skeleton contained in this mod is from Ragdolls patched for Diagonal Movement and One Man Army.
This mod is only half compatible with NVSE Enhanced Camera. This is because the method LogicDragon's mod uses to render the skeleton does not allow bone updates while in first person. I encourage you to go complain to him.
If you do use Enhanced Camera with this mod, you will need to change perspectives (First person -> Third person -> First person) when switching between melee and guns.
